Im trying to add a URL to a Facebook Pages about section and FB won't allow me. Says the URL is invalid. When I try to share a link from the website on FB the system detected it was unsafe.

Domain Details:
- .family extension
- Orignal content
- Family Blog
- No malware, etc
- I added a SSL certificate and FB still doesn't let me post or share

FB message when attempting to share a link:
  • The content you're trying to share includes a link that our security systems detected to be unsafe:

    sampledomain.family

Please remove this link to continue.
  • If you think you're seeing this by mistake, please let us know.

Ive submitted a message via the link but not hopeful. Anyone every run into this type of problem before? If so, how did you fix it? Replies appreciated in advance!

So "let them know" it's a mistake.

Sometime legit links get caught up on spam filter which is automated. A couple years ago, bit.ly and dropbox was also completely blocked by mistake. Have happend plenty of big sites too before.

It's because all those shitty cheap TLDs are used far and wide for spam, most are by default already flagged on fb, the slightest sneeze will set off spam filters, if it was previously regged it might of already been too. I would suggest buying a top level tld and just ditching it.

FB looks at all your outbound links on the site. If they link to CPA offers/Clickbank/Surveys/Content lock etc then they will block it. It will be almost impossible to get it back.

I would use a different URL ending in .com + make sure your site does not have CPA links
