Facebook Blocked my website

Hi,

I have a brand new website that I just started that is in no way spammy but accidently I messed up the .htaccess file and my website redirected for a second toward a previously blocked website.

Now theres an url on my brand new website that is being blocked.

What can I do to contact facebook to "unblock" my url. I need to be able to share this url on Facebook. I looked on the web and found nothing about how to lift a block?

Is there a number I could call?

do facebook blocked your website because of your own url? i mean facebook sometime blocks site which has a link (which have been blocked by fb).

in my case, i have one cpa site, displaying adscendmedia banner, and facebook blocked my url because of that. i remove the banner and my site is not blocked again for few weeks after link removal.

Without sounding like a sarcastic dickhead... you'll not be getting that URL unblocked.

Facebook don't talk to anyone. They're "face less" and actually "anti-social" they're a massive business with zero customer support.

I've had incidents with accounts being locked, DMCA complaints, all sorts but even though I replied in detail, I never heard another thing. Shit bag of a company (excuse my french). I don't see how your URL will be un-blocked, but perhaps there's an algo inplace to unblock after a certain amount of time. IMO when a link is dead it's gone for keeps.

I solved the problem. I just renamed by webpage and the block was lifted.

Did you just change the website title? Or get a new domain?

I was unblocked (blocked in the first place because I posted site update excessively throughout the day fr breking news) but I asked the likers of the page to contact people using a form link on their site and after about 2 weeks I was unblocked. Not sure if its the same situation.

Also facebook blocks me from sending legit friends requests for 7 days now 14. Fb is weird.

I edited the webpage file, for example:

page1.php to page2.php

The quickest and maybe the only you can do is to get a new domain and redirect new one at old.

May be sometime title will not be suitable that's why Fb blocked the url but is good to hear that you have change the name and you site will be unblocked.

Can you be more specific on where/what you renamed? In baby talk?

My website has been banned from facebook for almost 2 years now. I've tried additional domains, redirecting, moving the whole stinking thing to another host company, redesigned the site . . .
I've submitted the "I think this block is an error" form on their so called "help" section (which isn't helpful at all) at least 100 times over the last two years, and friends and family also submitted the request for me too. I never get any response from facebook.

$400 later in hosting expenses, and weeks of my life wasted to trying to get it unblocked, I tried to buy advertising - and omg, I got a call from an actual person. I mentioned my problem, he said that isn't his department, but would I be willing to assure at least a $2000 investment? Sure- I said. I played along - I need advertising - but btw, the website I'm trying to advertise is blocked . . .
. . . never heard from them again. I canceled my facebook page all together about a month ago I was so mad.

I'm kinda screwed though - I'm a small business owner and every marketing and business seminar and book I read all put facebook on the front line.

I would really be appreciative to anyone for some help - like the original poster, there just is not that much out there on a google search on the topic and this is the first time in two years I've ever seen someone actually get their site unblocked.

The other thing that sucks is my url is my business name, and I have way too much invested in the name to change it completely.

The site has no advertising, the original site was all hand coded - pretty simple - straight html, the second site was based off of a free template I found, and now I have just a wordpress blog and use it for both a wesbite and blog. I started blogging about a year ago. I swear the website is so harmless, not even close to abusive or spammy.

Help me - I'm pulling my hair out!

It's been years and FB got stricter and stricter. The only solution is to get a new domain and use it for redirection via an iFrame, then use an iFrame breaker script on your actual 'blocked' website. I hope FB spies won't read this and fix the issue like they did other issues before, damn it! Check out simple2urlc-o-m, then you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm not a skilled programmer, so I hired a freelancer to get the script done for me(cost me ~200 bucks including losses and rip-offs), then I had to make some major improvements after days of combing through Internet tutorials and stuff--that honestly have nothing to do with FB. What I've made so far is my own personal idea and sharing it fully will only accelerate its obsolescence. We live in a world where only capitalistic bastards like Mark Zuckerberg are allowed to make money despite their horrible services, i.e FB boosting. I made 8,500 bucks in 4 months by spamming. The so-called "legal services" are costly and the results are rubbish. It's been said that FB sends bots--not real visitors-- to your website when you pay for the boosting service. Mark is obsessed with keeping FB users INSIDE FB. Sort of "What happens in FB stays in FB". So each time their bot detects valuable ads in your external link, they blacklist your website, claiming it contains a malicious code.
