No actually graphicnut, facebook does go down for certain ISPs every few months so it was your ISP. Same shit happens to me when my friends across the country are on facebook.

Doesn't seem too bad to me...the new facebook is just going to take some getting used to. Everyone said "it sucks" when they did their last major update and there were petitions to go back to the old style...not we have the exact same situation but everyone wants to go back to something they initially hated. You'll get used to it and will benefit from the new features.
