Facebook beginner need help

Hi forum,
I'm beginner in facebook.
I would use facebook to create more traffic to my website ( visitors and backlinks ).
If I understand correctly:
1) I create an account and try to get a max of friends
2) I publish on my wall so my friends can see my website
3) I create a fan page for my website and I try to add my friends

The process looks good?

On your fan page have an opt in box

it's good but make a fan page good and reasonable for your friends to join in your fan page. also it should catch their attention.

Yeah and you should have opt in in your FanPage FBML

Ok, but what is "opt in in your Fanpages FBML" ?
I don't understand it because i'm french ^^
Opt in = i'm fan to my Fanpage ?
