Hi People,

after my first Fanpage about Mafia Wars with almost 40k Members was disabled, the 2nd now facebook is asking my admins to "Authenticate your Facebook Page"

"Our records indicate that you are currently the admin of a Facebook Page with a large number of fans, DJSABS. To ensure a positive user experience, we require admins of large Pages to confirm their affiliation with the brand, business, person, or entity that their Page represents. Please use the following link to authenticate your Page.

http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=authenticate_page

You will also be able to authenticate your Page by viewing your Page and clicking on the "Authenticate Page" link below the "Edit Page" link.

If you are unable to authenticate your Page in the next three weeks, you may lose the ability to publish stories to your fans."

does anybody get an idea how to "solve" such a thing? just make a website and put the badge on it?

yes

make a website and put the badge on it then you can authenticate

Im planning to build a group but after reading some horror about disabled pages, I want to ask the same questions too..

Can anyone here show me the steps to have my Page authenticated by facebook? I have created the badge and blog for my Page, but facebook doesn't bother at all! All sort of help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Btw, do they always require a like-box to be placed, or will a simple link do it as well?

you are very right just thing of a work around. even fb knows they cant keep all in box. we guys just need to find a work around that they can accept.
