    Hi there!

I am thinking of setting up a facebook application that will help on my website.

For example: A user browses the site, wants to read an article but he only sees the description image and text, and to view full article he needs to press like button, when he does, the content of the website is revealed, and automatically the article he is reading is posted on his facebook profile.

so... HOW do we do that one?

    Any ideas?

You'll want to take a look at the edge.create event in Fb.Event.Subscribe. You will only need an application ID to initialize the Facebook object, then once it's ready you just do an open graph call to the users' "likes" ("/me/likes/" - note: this will require an active access_token).
Then you will cycle through the json results to see if they've liked the page or not.

It will be a little bit different if you want them to like your site's URL as opposed to the fanpage, though. IIRC Facebook doesn't give you access to the likes, but you should be able to read the users' feed to see if there has been a recent wallpost from the like button (just preg_match it).

I should probably also note that using Facebook's Like button as a content locker is against their terms of service and might get you in trouble if you get too big.
