Facebook Application Page?

Hey there, quick question if anyone knows.

This should be pretty obvious, however I don't doubt Facebook's stupidity, so I'll have to ask it just to check (too tired to test myself - it's 04:50am).

Do Facebook application pages work in the same way as fan pages, as in, if I update it will all those whom have liked it see the message?

It is basically the same, the application itself does update but the user will have to re-access the application itself to see the changes, where here you'd want the application to post those updates on profiles etc. But I guess that is also possible with legit apps without getting disabled. Too many updates and the app gets disabled.
