Facebook Andromeda Update

Bro, Andromeda settings should not be edited too many times, set up new ads, duplication will lead to saturation

I’m running ads under the new Andromeda update with a CBO setup—1 campaign, 1 ad set(Advantage +), and 5–10 ads. When some ads start underperforming, is it better to cut them and add new creatives, or just remove the weak ones and duplicate the top-performing ads instead?
Duplicating the top performing is what I would do. But I don't know your niche so I can't give you better advice. If you could please reveal the niche to us it would be beneficial for you, because we would be able to advise you better.

if you want to advertise about Andromeda effectively then i think about editing the ads you should limit and increase the ad accounts so that they are not limited

I’ve been testing the same setup. It’s usually better to replace weak creatives instead of duplicating top performers too often

When an ad is performing poorly , pause it early to protect the overall signal. Instead of deleting or duplicating exactly, the best strategy is to duplicate the top-performing ad and slightly tweak the creative/copy. It is essential to avoid directly duplicating a good post, as this will quickly lead to saturation and decreased effectiveness.

It seems to me that overall, things have gotten much worse since the update? The same CPC and CPM, but significantly fewer conversions on the same creatives.

Great question about optimizing under the Andromeda update! With Advantage+ campaigns, Facebook's AI needs time to learn, so here's what works best: wait at least 3-5 days before making changes - the algorithm needs data to optimize properly.

When you do optimize, remove clear underperformers (CTR <1% or CPA 2x higher than average) and add fresh creatives rather than duplicating winners. In Ads Manager → go to your ad set → turn off weak ads → upload new variations testing different hooks/angles.

Duplicating top performers often resets the learning phase unnecessarily. Instead, let Facebook's dynamic creative testing work - it'll naturally shift budget to winners within your existing ad set.

How long have your current ads been running, and what metrics are you using to define "underperforming"?

I’ve noticed with the Andromeda update that performance consistency depends heavily on creative freshness and audience overlap. Usually, cutting weak ads and testing a few new variations around the top performer gives more stable results than duplicating too aggressively.

You can do two things at once. Cut the weak ads and replicate the original campaigns that are performing well.

Turn off the low performers, keep the strong ones, and test new creatives to keep optimizing based on data.

Just turn offf the campaigns that is looking like did not do much and use the ones that get results. Add new campaigns that are creative instead. You should be fine

I’d say cut the underperformers and test fresh creatives rather than just duplicating winners. Keeps the campaign learning and avoids ad fatigue.

Another approach is to let the top ads run a bit longer while gradually introducing new variations. This way, you maintain momentum without resetting the campaign’s learning phase.

Sometimes I find it helpful to rotate creatives in small increments swap one or two at a time so the pixel adapts steadily without losing the performance of existing ads.

With the new Andromeda update, performance tends to vary depending on data consistency and creative quality.

Hi, I'm running ad set budget with 1 creative in 1 ad set, and launching 10 adsets at a time. I do this for 5 years, i check each creative perfomance independently. this approach works good, I haven't noticed any differences with andromeda. why do you all care about this andromeda update? what's the point?

In reality, with the new Andromeda update, duplicating ad sets no longer holds much meaning. It's more effective to create a new campaign with the same ad set setup, the same creative, and increase the budget for that campaign. If the pixel has been well-trained, you can definitely narrow the targeting for better optimization.

Regarding budget scaling, this phase still involves risks but is entirely possible. The important note is not to increase more than 20% at a time during daily budget updates.

After Andromeda, are you still scaling using multiple ABO ad sets with just one creative in each?

My biggest question is: where would there be less internal competition when targeting the same audience ABO or CBO?

For example, let’s say I validated an audience and now I want to scale it. What’s the best move? Should I create multiple CBO campaigns with different creatives for that same audience, or should I launch multiple ABO ad sets with different creatives for that audience?

Best move is to cut the weak ads fast and feed the algo with fresh creatives. Duplicating winners can work, but new angles usually keep the campaign healthier under Andromeda.
