Facebook alert Setup

Only administrators have this feature; members in your group will not have it.

Currently, Facebook does not offer a direct feature to receive warnings when posts containing keywords are posted in groups of which you are a member. However, you can try using group search, using third-party tracking tools, enabling group-specific notifications, custom programming (for technicians)

Hello growth bhw community,
Is it possible to set up an alert on Facebook to be notified as soon as a post containing a keyword is published in one of the groups I'm a member of?
Thanks in advance.

This is a question I've been wondering about for a while, it should be possible since there are business services that notify companies when they are mentioned online...
Only administrators can receive notifications of that word, members cannot receive them, or you can search by that keyword

While Facebook doesn’t have a built in feature for keyword alerts in groups, you can turn on group notifications to stay updated on all posts. Alternatively, you can use the search bar to look for posts containing your desired keywords

I’ve never heard of that feature before. Instead you should consider turning on post notifications for the group to stay updated

I have not seen any software that supports moderating posts for groups and notifying if there are violating keywords. You can only use the group administrator to manually approve.

There are software that can help you, find them in forums that match the programming topic or something.

I have not seen this function on Facebook. You can only enable the group notification when a member is posted

I haven't heard about the feature to turn on notifications for posts containing keywords

I only see notifications from groups about your friends posting in that group or someone else mentioning you in that group, but I haven't seen any Facebook feature that can remind you that someone posted with a certain keyword

i only see notifications from friends' posts, but there are no keyword warnings yet, mainly because i join the group and search by it

There is no such reminder bro. You just have to go to the group regularly and go to the search section in the group and write the keyword you want to get the latest updates.

The only way is to join the group regularly and write the keywords you want to find or interact with the post, then you will get a notification.

Notifications are only available when you are an administrator, but if you are a member, that feature is not available

Facebook does not provide a direct feature for users to set up alerts for keywords in posts from groups they are members of. You can search for keywords in Facebook’s search bar and filter the results by group. However, this method does not provide automatic notifications. You will have to perform regular searches to check if there are any posts with the keywords you are interested in.

enable post approval and you can filter manually

You can't set it up when you're a member, and there's no tool to set it up yet.

I have never seen such a function. If you find it, please share it with me

Currently I have never heard of any such software. But FB has an update on words that violate their policies, you can learn and refer to

You can only set notifications when group members post. If you want to know posts with certain content, you need to access the group and search by keyword

This is only possible when you are an admin of the group.

is that a new feature i never heard of it

In my experience, notifications are for admins only.

I think this is the only way

Is that a new feature? I’ve never heard of it before.

I specify that I want third-party tracking tools.

You’re all telling me it’s not possible, do you think I don’t know that?

If you have third-party tracking tools to do it, fine, otherwise leave us alone.

Even my grandma knows it’s not possible with Facebook.

I see people having to hire moderators in their groups to be able to filter posts that don't violate policies.

It seems like Facebook doesn't have this feature yet. Try seeking support from other software to see if it helps!

I have not seen any Facebook feature that can remind you that there are certain keywords, you should turn on post approval so that when anyone wants to post with keywords you can hide that post.

There is no such function on Facebook. Maybe you can find a bot like that on the marketplace. Or you can hire a freelancer to build a bot like this for you here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/hire-a-freelancer.76/

There are many support software or the simplest way is that you regularly visit those groups.

Hi, I don't think you can setup alerts for specific keywords in a group. But maybe there's a few workarounds for this...

There are no warnings about keywords in group posts. You can regularly go to the group and search for that keyword, then posts containing that keyword will appear

You could do this with Selenium IDE addon on Firefox. Case study: I just opened some random public group. There were posts with text description (above a link share preview, photo, etc). All texts on all posts are placed in an element class="xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs x126k92a". So you could use the loop command and the command to refresh the page every... 1 minute (the longer the better, FB doesn't like too many F5s in a short time), and then the command VerifyText for which Target field would contain precisely this without the quotes "class="xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs x126k92a" and in the Value field you will write the keyword (ex: Motorano). Then you will also create two more GoToIf commands, where if the VerifyText command doesn't verify the existence of that keyword in the elements that are loaded (class=xdj.... right) the script's next step willl point to the label (example...) KeywordNotHere which is set right above the Refresh command (which basically means repeating the check again, and again, until it does find the keyword which is searching), and if the command VerifyText does verify the existence of that keyword, it will point to another label command further below, basically the before-last command with a Value (example...) KeywordHere, after which the last command will be set - and that's a RunScript command that can play an audio to notify you, or you can be creative here and use the script to send yourself an email so you can get a notificaiton on your phone. I think this is doable, and I would've need less time to create the script than to write all of this :)

I'm interested in these software programs. Can you direct me to them?
