Hello guys,
does any of you have any luck advertising on Facebook?

I just put one of my direct affiliate links, just to try it out, on FB and they approved my ad in a hour.

Will let you know how much clicks i'll get and if i make any cash :)

I've only used it for gaining likes on pages and the cost-per-like is pretty spendy.
 
I've been wanting to experiment with advertising on Facebook, I just got done watching a video on their advertising page explaining it. When they explain it, they make it seem like you buy an ad only to get a link to another Facebook page. Are you saying (OP) that you can buy an ad on Facebook and directly link to offers? Just curious if anyone with experience knew.
 
I've done some advertising on FB ads to build up a legit business page with a few thousand likes. I don't think I'll ever come close to turning a profit from it though.

Yes, in their video they show only part of advertising types they sell. However, you can either advertise external links, or facebook pages. Earlier it used to be a hassle to promote offers as they had very strict criteria's for the website where the ad redirects people, but nowadays, its much easier. I think its since the time they started making it necessary for people to advertise to gain action on Facebook pages and all, that they have become much open with letting potential advertisers promote their products.

I think that facebook is only used to increase traffic to a website, such as page sharing and invite someone to be a follower or a member of website.

Anyway, i ain't got any luck with FB, well seems like the truth is that FB is only for funny stuffs.
