I have boosted posts in the past, but this is my first time attempting to run an ad on Facebook, and I’m a bit confused about the sizing/display options.
I’ve created an ad that is 1080x1080, and uploaded it to the ad center, and it is showing me how the ad will look in various formats (feed, marketplace, videos, etc). It adjusts the graphic to fit these different formats, and obviously it crops it weirdly. I tried different dimensions, but it also looked weird.
Is there a standard size that, when adjusted, will look good in all formats? Or is there a way to specify where/how you want your ad to show (ex. only in feed, not on videos, etc.)?
