Facebook Ads: "Your Ad Wasn't Approved" Issue

So recently I came across this issue when I decided to boost a post:

Your ad wasn't approved because the URL associated with the ad promotes:

Making money or getting rich by doing little or nothing
An unclear business model that doesn't explicitly state how to make money or how value is created (ex: which products and services are sold)
A multi-level marketing business model without a clear product they're selling (ex: Empire Network, Empower Network, Motor Club of America, Prosperity Team)
Ads must be clear about the business opportunity that leads to the advertised income. Ads for "get rich quick" schemes (ex: work from home, pyramid schemes) that offer money for little to no investment, or promotional content for money-making schemes are not allowed. This also holds for mentoring, coaching or affiliate programs or other partnerships with unclear business models.

You must fully explain the business model and participation process in the destination website of your ad.

The problem here is that the URL in question doesn't even cover those topics and both of the appeals I made to Facebook's "support" system resulted in that same response above. Removing any pages from that site and the Facebook posts that even remotely mentioned those topics didn't even help and I can't even using Facebook ads for that entire page without seeing the error below.

Your promoted Page can't promote money-making opportunities without clear and accurate disclosure of terms.

Currently, I'm considering deleting the business page, creating a new one, and then promoting the same URL just to see if it works, although I'm curious to know if any of you have ever dealt with this before and how you corrected the issue (if you did, that is).

A writer friend of mine had her ads disabled by Facebook too. She was promoting posts from her blog about freelance writing. They gave her that exact same excuse.

Of course it was bull; she never did or posted anything related to any of those things. Her entire site is about how to find freelance writing clients, handle requests, what services to offer.

She tried to appeal too and they gave her the runaround - just like they're doing to you.

She concluded that FB's "support" is made up of monkeys. Or robots. She appealed 4 times and got the exact same answer every time.

"She concluded that FB's "support" is made up of monkeys." Well, I knew that much considering their support told me that those child porn, animal abuse, and murder pages I reported were allowed. :)

I've never bothered using Facebook Ads until a month ago, but their whole review system seems ridiculous. Hell, when I was verifying my local business by sending in my business license, they tried saying that the information on the business license didn't match the information on the page. I had to circle the information for them to get them to approve it.

I am palmfacing so hard right now.

I actually wonder if you can delete the account and create a new one. I'd try it at least two or three times. One of those morons has got to let you through.
 
Man just do Cloak. I can even add porn ads there. I have almost all of facebook ad editor's IP adress ranges.
If someone has a really good converting system, I am open for JVs.

I'm not sure, they seem to just auto-reject any of the ads on that page. Using the boost option results in this message:

I can still try to boost it, but then they just send me that asinine "your ad wasn't approved" nonsense.

If anything, I'll probably just try to create a landing page, drive traffic to it using Adwords, promote the Facebook page(s) there with a slide-in, and call it a day.

The ad and page belong to a local business tied to both my account and several of my client's accounts, so I'm trying to limit doing anything "risky" on those accounts.

I work in the Law Enforcment, Military and Tactical world. Getting an ad approved is nearly impossible. In the past... no issues but since this election has been over with I feel like facebook is just ANTI anything that has to do with the support of my audience. It's crazy. We don't promote in ads that has weapons, or anything that violates their policy. I even posted a photo of an officer hanging out with kids and it was denied.

Your ad wasn't approved because it doesn't follow our https://www.facebook.com/policies/ads#prohibited_content. Your ad promotes the sale of ammunition, firearms, Paintball guns, BB guns, or other weapons, including knives, daggers, swords, bows, arrows, knuckle dusters, and nunchucks. Advertising the sale of weapons or leading to destinations where the business primarily focuses on the sale of weapons is not allowed.

Keep in mind that ads can promote advocacy or interest groups that help connect people who have interests related to these products, as long as it doesn’t lead to the sale of any weapons.
If you think your ad follows our https://www.facebook.com/policies/ads/, you can appeal this disapproval.

Just insain if you ask me. I guess FB doesnt was the $8,000 a month budget I have set for advertising.
 
Facebook has been cracking down! The have destroyed one business model I was working with. Kept getting the same message over and over. It got so bad with auto messages that where they inserted their reps name was just xxx. I know the ins and outs of Facebook marketing. The no go words etc... Your not alone.
 
Lol they disapproved my add because I forgot to put a capital F on facebook on my website. Those cheeky assholes.
