Facebook ads total billing VS campaign spend !

so the full billing report is 133,36 Dollar but the amount spent for the campaings is 111.14
The total billing amount of $133.36 includes all charges related to your ad account, not just the campaign spend.
$111.14 is the actual cost of running your ad campaigns during the specified period.

In addition to campaign spending, there are a few additional costs such as taxes, fees, and retention...

You can check if your account is taxed or if the deductions are different on the ad report

Hello, I have counted how much I have spent on campaigns from the begening till now knowing that the ad account is new, so the full billing report is 133,36 Dollar but the amount spent for the campaings is 111.14! Though it was the same period! "The account is turkish"
You can check because it may be due to tax. If it is not tax then see if you delete any campaign. Because if you delete a campaign with spending it will not show up as usual. Leading to errors

could be due to taxes or a portion of Meta's holdings

It could be due to taxes or fees or currency conversion from Meta you can double check your invoice for VAT or additional charges you should contact Facebook support for a more detailed explanation and to make sure everything is correct they will be able to provide more clarity on additional charges.

Please check your invoice for tax and what currency you are using. Meta will convert to US dollars. So other currencies will be converted and charged a fee to compare the exchange rate.

The difference may be due to taxes, service fees, or temporary holds for new accounts. Check in Billing or wait a few days to see if the balance is adjusted. If still unclear, try contacting Meta Support

1. Check your billing invoice, there you can find if any taxes are included.
2. Check if have deleted any previous campaign, and it had some spent.

Thank you.

You check the invoice section on the advertising account to see if it is correct, check if the campaign has been deleted, or the account is on hold.

spending country has lost advertising tax, please change the account country it will not cost more

I have also encountered many accounts with such a difference in spending amount. You should first monitor the time zone that has not been updated correctly compared to your time zone, or the Meta system has not calculated the current amount correctly. Please wait a few days for the system to refund or display the exact amount you spent on the campaign.

I think it relates to tax issues. Or there may be some hidden campaigns that you haven't deleted it

1. check if any campaign is deleted
2. account may be on hold, hold money will be refunded after a few days

check if your ad account has a tax usually it will be deducted from there

Your account has been charged additional fees for taxes and the dollar exchange rate. Please check the invoice from Facebook and the amount that the bank has paid for that campaign.

maybe your account has lost some vat because the account is turkish, here FB ads may be subject to value added taxes so there is a difference between the total amount paid and the actual amount spent on the campaigns

please contact Meta support. check if there is tax on that account.

That difference could be due to VAT or other local taxes/fees applied to your billing, especially since your account is Turkish. Facebook often adds tax on top of your ad spend depending on the country and payment method.

Also, check if you’ve had any manual payments, currency conversion fees, or if there's a hold or adjustment on a campaign. Sometimes billing reflects total charges including these extras, while campaign spend shows only the actual ad delivery cost.

Would recommend checking your billing settings and download the full invoice, it usually breaks things down more clearly.
