Facebook Ads - Suspicious Payment Activity?

Hey crew!

Whats going on with Facebook and their suspicious payment activity crap!?!?
Several times I have created a Facebook ads account, launched an ad campaign, and set up a billing method (paypal or card)...

About 10 minutes later...The account is banned for 'suspicious payment activity'....Maybe I'm an idiot, but in 10 minutes, I havent even had a chance to GET billed, let alone, screw Facebook out of the $.05 they are going to bill me...

Sorry for the mini rant...but...

How can you aviod this crap?!?!? I've had quite a few accounts shut down for this, and I ALWAYS make my payments on time( considering they survive more than a day)!
I'm usually trying to advertise on new profiles / biz accounts...is that the problem? The ads are always tasteful...

My 1 thought is that the card name/paypal has to match the profile name/email...?

Any insight is EXTREMELY appreciated! Also, anybody else getting random payment bans?

I am not sure if I can offer any help, but I can tell you back in February or March when I last setup and purchased a FB Ad, the name on the credit card did not have to match the name on the profile. However, this may have since changed.
 
you use VCC? Usually when we use vcc then facebook will send the email. I had account with same problem, and i just email facebook and tell why they banned my account, and some of my account can use again.
 
I don't think it's avoidable if you create an account, and jump right into advertising. Happened to me too last week. Just send them a quick email explaining what you're doing and you're not up to anything bad, confirm your paypal email, and they'll unlock it the next day if everything checks in.

I'm not sure but in my case I think it's because my FB email did not match my Paypal email...

*shrug*

On a side note, I've created like 10 ads and they were all rejected, no matter how nice I put it.... it's a real pain :ouch:
 
Recently i used 1 cc for 3 accounts - no problem at all. All accounts are still live. What i did is create a shitty fan page, hit promote, add my cc, the coupon, then wait to approve the ad - cancel the fan page ad immediately after approval. Then create the ads that i actually want to run. So far so good.
 
is it getting harder to earn with fb already? this is getting a bit of pain..
 
HI everyone, I was just wandering how you got on with this problem? 2 days ago my account was temporarily suspended for suspicious payment activity when I took out an advert with my paypal address.
Any ideas how long it will take to restore?
