Hello guys,

So basically i'm looking for advice to drive 1tier traffic to my website trough fb ads.

So i create a post with signup button on mu fb page and boost it.

Tried "pay per website link clic", "pay per reach" , "pay per engagement"...

The one that worked for me is pay per website link clic, means the signup button clic.

The other stuff havnt bring me any single visitor to my website but only post engagement.

But the cpc is too high 0.8$ avg

Is it normal? Or is there a trick to lower the cpc?

Thank you

You check how long the ads has been up

Average engagement on ads ..if you having very good engagement

You still pay between 0.03-0.05

But once you paying above 0.08

You start bleeding

I think you should wait till it's get more Interactions and see what the algo does

And try to run ads from a different ad account, facbook is sometimes shit and they will ban you for nothing.

I got banned twice just for trying to place the ad. Facebook is so crazy strict, they seem to ban randomly.

Talk to me about banning. so annoying plus the worst thing is that there's not recovery options once it;s gone.

Try a good targeting and try sending campaigns through different accounts, sometimes one works and another doesn't

I wouldn't suggest directly boosting the post if that's what you are doing, but instead making an ad and using the post as the content if that makes sense.

Well, it totally depends upon your niche which niche are you targeting to post ads on Facebook. Also, you need to be very specific and particular about what ads are you posting on Facebook or other social media sharing sites.

Thank you everyone for the suggestion.

About ban thing, i'm running campaigns that arn't against there rules, got my account deactivated once two weeks ago, i wrote to the support so they can review manually, and after 24 hours my acct is back to normal again.

So i need to keep the campaign running for a long time "how much exactly?" So i can see the diferrence, cuz 0.8$ cpc is really too high and i'm just wasting money.

Will try to change interest, and try to target lower ages people.

Is targeting multiple 1tier country is the problem, do i need to target only one per ad?
Maybe that will lower the cpc.

Check your stats by country and see which country gives you the lowest cost.

Your main problem is probably targeting the right audience. Use Audience Insights to do your research about your niche, and which interests can be targeted. Go after niche related magazines, big websites, brands/shops, communities.

Also, sign up will never give you enough clicks. Create your ad in ads manager and use ’learn more.’

Thank you dear for time.

For the niche i'm using there's no need to target a specific category, let's say it's like "make money" niche, everyone is interested.

I'm using signup button because i need people to signup when they reach my landing page.

The ad is well optimised, i get 7 register members of 10.

I still don't know how fb ads filters works... Is there a way to check "interest/cpc" from the traffic i received?

This is my day 5 running the ad without pause and the cpc won't go down. And i'm still expirementing on others ad the lower avg cpc reached is 0.7$

Will check tomorrow if there's any drop... I hope so

You are wrong :)

You can target broad when you spend a ton of money and have ads/copy/targeting figured out, and you know exactly who your audience is and you spend thousands per day :) Especially not when you are targeting multiple countries, which is never a good idea at the beginning when one country can give you $0.40/click and one $1.30.

7 out of 10 doesn't mean your ad is optimized, that just means your landing page is optimized. If your ad (image/video/copy) would be well optimized you would get way cheaper clicks.

I’ve tested all the buttons against ’learn more’, and usually performs better because there is no micro commitment like sign-up/shop now.

Good luck!

1) You need to have something of value.
2) You need to describe what you have in such a manner that it forces people to click on your ad. That means your ad needs to grab their attention as they are scrolling, then your copy needs to provide them with such an urge to learn more that they have to click. But you have to do this without being too clickbait or you'll lose your account.

Check out this old tutorial someone wrote a while back. Still relevant today IMO.

Seems that there's a misunderstanding, when i started this thread, i was looking for a way to lower the cpc not how my ad should looks like.

In the last 2 days, the cpc "link click campaign" is down to avg 0.2$ per click.

Seems that facebook keep lowering the cpc rate after a period of time.

Create a campaign and let it stay for +5-7 days will get you lower cpc, i spent 350$ to reach this cpc.

Also don't forget that you will be debited for reach, that's mean if you don't have a good ad optimised you will be debited for reach and no clicks on your link.

Now i think it's time to increase the daily limit, since the roi is good. Will writr again if i get lower cpc than that

Well, I successfully recovered two of my ad account back within 24hr. Their support link does work
I agree with you, but there's a diference between Disabled & Banned.
Banned won't be recovered. Already reviewed.
Instead you can recover a disabled account by requesting a manuel review.

if you want a good experiment on Facebook ads you must obtain this rules:

  • create multiple ad accounts, Try a good targeting and try sending campaigns through different accounts, test & test & test.
  • Check your stats by country and see which country gives you the lowest cost.
  • targeting the right audience. Use Audience Insights to do your research about your niche, and which interests can be targeted.
  • Also, sign up buttom will never give you enough clicks.
  • is not a good idea at the beginning targeting multiple countries, when one country can give you $0.40/click and one $1.30
  • facebook keep lowering the cpc rate after a period of time.
