you can go to fb ads library to search for competitors, select country and select all ads then search keywords by product name or your competitors name know. good luck
 
The most effective tool is to use a clone account, according to the age group your ad is targeting, then like and comment on topics related to the product you are advertising, then click all of your ads. Your opponent will appear on your personal page

They have free trial periods but nothing is free. You could use AdSpy it's a popular tool according to my knowledge.
