Hi,

Facebook approved my ads then disable my account for suspicious activity. I have reset password etc and logged back in but getting the ad account re-activated is my problem. The account is an old one that I have used for years but its fake. If I answer the question "are you the owner of the funding source" as "no" what is the next question. The funding source is real but it doesnt match the Facebook account (its my real bank card)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Islandman,

I guess I?m having trouble understanding your question. If the funding source is real and you own it, why not answer yes? Facebook doesn?t care who is paying for the ad or if that information doesn?t match up to the account.

Best,

Shawn

Errr... it depends on how you look at it - Either you can assume that since your physical self is paying for the ad's that you can say 'yes' I am the funding source, but, I believe the form is implying that the account details (I.e. name, address, etc.) align with the 'funding source' for security purposes. This may be the reason as to why the account was barred to begin with..possibly?

If the payment source and the account information doesn't match up, this is what usually happens. It happened to me before when I was using a fake account and added my real CC. Best solution is to make an account that matches the name and info on the card that you're using.

The funding source is real and it will go through but its not in the name of the Facebook account I am using, thats my problem. If I say "yes I am the owner of the funding source" which I personally am, that isnt the name of the Facebook account.

if you bought a coupon then from fiverr then they will ban you and or limit your account till they find whats wrong.
