Facebook Ads Pixel Keeps Getting Disabled

Every new pixel I add inside my BM gets flagged within days. Even if the campaign is cloaked, FB disables the pixel saying it’s violating policy. Without a stable pixel I can’t optimize properly. Anyone know how to keep pixels alive longer?

FB ties pixels closely to ad accounts now. If the account is running risky campaigns, the pixel goes down with it. Best bet is to run clean traffic through the pixel for a while so it builds history before pointing it at cloaked funnels.

Meta flags pixels that receive data that violates their policies, even with cloaking. This often happens when the pixel collects sensitive user data (e.g., health, financial, or personal info) from your site.

To keep them "alive," focus on two things:
Ensure your website's privacy policy and cookie consent are clear and compliant with GDPR, CCPA, etc. Use a tool like Conversions API to send data directly from your server, which is more reliable and less prone to browser-side issues.

Always have a backup pixel in your Business Manager. Don't attach it to an ad account until you need it. This way, it collects data in the background and can be assigned to a new ad account if your main one is disabled.

Hey, New pixels die fast usually if the BM has no trust. Try warming the BM with clean traffic first, avoid reusing flagged domains/creatives, and scale slowly. Agency BMs or verified BMs also keep pixels alive longer.

If you really need optimization data, mirror the setup on a third-party tracker. You can’t stop FB from killing pixels, but you can at least save the data elsewhere.

Try a fresh verified BM and rotate pixels it usually helps keep them alive.

i think facebook has sent you the reason for the banned pixel, you just need to read it and follow the rules, the banned pixel happens very rarely and i hardly ever encounter that problem

Maybe proper integration is required with Consent Mode, that allows pixels to operate only after user opt in, greatly reducing risk
Make pixels fire only on permitted conversion events, not on every page load

Funny thing is, my whitehat store pixel survived a year, but my cloaked one lasted 48 hours

Use one Business Manager to store pixels separately. Do not keep pixels and accounts in the same BM, as this will cause you losses if Facebook audits that BM.

Pixel disabled due to policy violations, BM/account issues, or unusual activity. Please verify BM, use verified domains, and limit sharing of the pixel.

Pixels are often disabled when Facebook detects unsafe content, traffic, or related accounts. You need to review your policies, optimize your traffic sources, and ensure that BM is reputable.

Same issue happened few days ago, Fb ads becoming harder than before, What you can do if your pixel don't last a days to week, Cloaking is required.
Change ad account, use new card, new domain.

use a separate bm for pixel creation, also warm up the bm first, then pour clean traffic through before you attach this pixel to a policy violating landing page

Pixels die fast when FB sees mismatch between account trust level and event activity. Don’t push new pixels straight into cloaked/high-risk campaigns. Warm them up on clean traffic (small budgets, whitelist GEOs) for a few days, then layer them into heavier stuff. Keep BM environment stable (IP/device/verified info). That usually keeps them alive longer. DM if you want a quick checklist

Maybe try setting up a super basic, super safe "brand awareness" campaign first to get the pixel some good vibes before you really start pushing it

If the pixel is getting flagged repeatedly, the issue is usually the traffic quality or policy compliance rather than the pixel itself. Replacing pixels did not solve a pattern that Meta's systems keep detecting.

What kind of setup are you using when you create the pixel new BM every time, aged , or same ad account with multiple pixels?
