I'm thinking about starting up in Facebook because of how well it sets up its demographics and all the traffic, etc. However from what I hear it is very tedious and ads can get blocked randomly.

I saw Facebook Ads Manager for $200 and it seems like it does some great split testing, creates huge amounts of variety, and automates a lot of the process to save lots of time. But of course the ad page is going to say that so I'm wondering if anyone here actually uses it and would recommend it. (Especially since I'm just starting out and don't want to keep throwing money at every program that sounds good)

If anyone's used it let me know, or if you know where to get it for cheaper (or just download it) and if you don't need it any tips on working facebook would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah FB is definitely tedious and lots of errors show up when I try to start new campaigns or even edit old ones for that matter. My ads even get disapproved even when they follow the TOS. Basically a pain but usually worth it. If that Facebook Ads Manager works well then it'd definitely be worth it. Curious myself to see if anyone has had positive experience with it. :)

New user here and glad to see at least few people are also curious about this FB tool.

Few days ago, there was a post on shoemoney blog saying this app is actually cool - but i wouldn't trust it unless some senior member can confirm that the tool actually works.

You have to get along with it, it's sometimes very tricky to use because its doing all the clicks that were actually necessary to setup the ads automatically. The FB ads manager is browsing and clicking through the facebook website. so its actually a script that automizes clicks like imacros does.

But of course the facebook website sometimes is very slow and the fb admanager stucks for several reasons so that you have to restart the script.

If you want to split test and upload a huge campaign with e.g. 5 headlines, 5 ad texts and 20 pictures that will be 5 x 5 x 20 = 500 ads and this will take hours until this is done. you have to open the fb ads manager in new browser window and let in run in the background and if you have slow computer you might not even be able to use your computer during the ads creation procedure.

So this is a nice tool but it will not bring you very close to the big facebook boys which have a dedicated account manager and access to the ads bulk uploading tools from facebook with which you can upload thousands of ads in minutes.

The only thing you can do to reach that level is to hit the 25k monthly spending limit to get a personal account manager.

blackhatyoungster: This looks so badass. Thanks man. Haven't used it yet but am looking forward to trying it out. You really helped me out here and I appreciate it. You're like my own personal JC except with better abs.

Pete: Thanks for the info. I look forward to the day when I do get my own account manager. Hopefully that day comes soon for all of us and I think this will help.

I saw a custom bulk ads uploader somewhere, I didnt think it was a standard one from facebook, how do you get your own accounts rep etc?

the last update was " January 28th, 2010"

can anyone clear this? or is there another fb ads manager software?

Thanks

it hasn't been updated for ages, but still works well.. there is a user on BHW that is making some new software, not sure when it'll be released though.. search the forum for "Facbook Clickbank Arbitration" or something like that..

I couldn't find FB Ad Manager in the DNS so here it is..

you need to make sure you open the link in Firefox as its a FF plugin :)

I've been using it for 4ish months now and love it because of the split testing it allows :)

Enjoy and hit the thanks if you like ;-)

blackhatyoungster, does that link still work? I tried to open it but it wouldn't load.

EDIT: actually I realize why, for link protection I guess, o was replaced with zero. This ads manager fb plugin, is that something that's no wide spread and easily found or is it something that is popular and it's just simply about knowing about it?

installs ok and it is a facebook ads manager in firefox addons......tried loggin into my facebook account, created a test ad,,,,no new interface for managing ads....

how do we use it....or it is no longer working?

It is still working. Its an Addon for the Sidebar and you have to show the FB Adsmanager in the FF Sidebar. In Firefox go to "View", "Sidebar" and select "FB Ad Manager".

Really? If so i would be interested where you found it, let me know. You just need to spend 25k on FB PPC and then they will contact you and assign you an account manager.

Codename: Obviously I am not an expert on this program but I have found some articles that are worth going over for anyone on this thread that's interested.

I can't put up links because I'm still too new here but check out the guides on 4hour Affiliate and Jonathan Volk on how to use this tool.

These are a few things I'm looking over to figure out the FB game. If anyone has some links to some great FB marketing guides or on how to use FB manager please share.

Latest FB manager is not working with the changes.. this version get stuck in the middle.. lets wait when the new version comes out :(

Are you saying this program doesn't work at all?

BTW while we're on the subject does anyone have the Plenty of Fish Uploader? It's similar to this but just for Pof.

i have both and if your serious about either ad platform and you havent sprung for these peices of software your wasting your time and money. They are seriously life savers on many campaigns and i have made many thousands of dollars off campaigns I wouldnt have been able to create without the time savings created by these tools.

I'm admittedly new to the industry but have been really looking into these tools. I'm not an affiliate for them or anything but FB Ads Manager is great and the one for Pof looks very similar.

BTW does anyone have the Pof one? Or an invitation to theVault would also be slick.
