Facebook Ads Lowering Organic Reach?

Hey BHW!

So I noticed something strange lately. Whenever I turn on ads, my organic reach for that days post drops significantly...BUT on the days I don't turn on my ads my organic reach just shoots right back up (Imagine below)

Please keep in mind that the stats disparity will vary with follower count - I have roughly 15k followers so to see on the days I turn on ads my reach goes to 2k from almost 10k is strange.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I feel same way with ads. Organic drop a lot!
Wich kind of promo did you use? I'm using "post interaction" and "video ads" with video productions I do.
 
OP most of the time its FB algorithm. A simple search on Google will clear things for you.
 
Not me but i have seen this happening with one person that posts reach decreases slightly fast and has a huge difference.
And "post interaction" promo is the better option i suggest.

Whoops I forgot to mention - those 2 post are 2 different post and posted on 2 different days.

What I meant was when I turn on Facebook Ads in general (not those 2 posts specifically) my organic reach (those 2 posts) either drops or increases.

The first image that says 'Ads Turned On' I have ads running on a different post and the shown image is the organic reach.

The second image that says 'Ads Turned Off' I don't have ads running on any post and the shown image is the organic reach for that days post.
 
The organic reach change daily. This week I have a higher reach then normal.

I think everyone knows that...
What's not normal is when my reach for non advertised posts plummet when I'm running ads and when I don't run ads my reach for the non advertised post shoot up.
 
Expect a lot of weird shit in the next 6 months as they readjust their delivery system for ads.
 
same happened for me, I was getting decent reach but yesterday I decided to run an ad in the morning and the rest of the day my post were reaching 16k tops on over 4 million followers. Next day no ads running and reach back to the normal.

No specific trick. You have to target the right audience/demographics with the right content. I know it sounds too easy but that's really all there's to it.
