Facebook Ads for MovieSite?

Hi, has anyone tried running facebook ads for a moviesite? It is considered as legal by fb? I'm having problems driving traffic to my moviesite so thinking of leveraging fb.

Any advice would be great.

If you try it, I would try it on a new facebook ads account (So facebook doesn't ban your main account). Also, check their terms to make sure you're ok to run it.

Hi,
A while back when running my penny auction site i applied for FB ads and got rejected because apparantly the sites are illegal in the country we targeted; there wasnt any trouble, banning of accounts or anything, they just rejected it.

But that's just one experience, it may be best to follow PaperDonut's advice

I am actually doing this right now with my TV site and none of my ads have been rejected.

If anything, drive them to a facebook movie fanpage. Once it's approved set up a custom tab or something. Or send them to a movie blog and then just redirect.
