Facebook ads / content strategy checklists and success metrics

Hi everyone!

Could you please share if you have any checklists for facebook strategy, or how f.e you approach a small business who is absolutely new to facebook marketing. Do you go with some brand awareness and content only, and then retarget for middle of the funnel or bottom to the funnel, or something else?

Also, what do you call a successful campaign? What CTR do you target? Is it based on the goal of the link or content piece or advertisement?
