Hey i Just set up a campaign for a shopify store and its been like 10 hours i had 500 impressions and they charged me 5$
isnt 10$ is too much for 1000 impressions??
please anyone is there a way to better optimize my ad?
BTW there was 0 conversions and only 5 clicks out of 500 impressions!

How many ad sets have you tried so far? Make 3-5 ad sets and test them and see which converts the best!!

Sorry for the dumb question but what do you mean ad sets?
like just different ads?
or also different demographics?
also when do i know it doesn't convert? like when do i stop?

An expert told me he spends a minimum of $20 per day for 4 days to see if the ad is working. You might get lucky and see results in the first day or two and make $100 after optimizing your campaign this is how it works. You must spend money in a few ads until you see the "winner" then start from there. Different set is different age, demographic, interests etc.. You need to change the ad copy and image too. It's all about testing, impressions are nor clicks or traffic, go with pay per click instead of impressions. Good luck.

If you plan on getting any results from FB ads, you need to get into the advanced interface and set precise targetting and other options. If you just buy the ads, the general settings are designed to burn money as fast as possible.

Honestly, invest in a Facebook ads course. Seriously so crucial if you're getting into media buying

If you're running the FH method that's pretty big, buy ecom empire. Worth the money

How so? I have been using FB Ads for a while now, and the ad manager vs Power editor -- not sure if there is there much difference.

Can you explain your experience. Would love to know.

Also try cloaking to an aggressive landing page which has much higher CR.

Basically, your ads suck.

Here are ways to improve:
1. Test more ad copies: different texts and images in different ad set.
2. Figure out which one performs best based on ROI
3. Use landing page which has much higher conversion rate.

When you've mastered all this, you can look into cloaking!

Lol, so many advice here but nobody mentioned Christmas is coming, of course CPM is high. You are competing with thousand of big company, they are pushing their sales for pre christmas and new year holiday. CPM shoots up for a reason.

I assume you are targeting US? You are lucky to have 10$ per CPM, i had like 39$ per CPM last year during this period.

That's true, facebook is also becoming very annoying still the award is high, adapt or find new methods!

Man, I get clicks and no conversions. FB, I can't do it for some niches.

If you are targeting First World country and specific group of people then 1000 impression for $10 is a good price but if its a broad targeting then you should start split testing to get a profitable ad set.
