I keep trying to get a ad approved I submit it but it keeps getting rejected 5 minutes later and the reasoning says because in advertising you cannot ask a question and say the word “you” because it could be discriminatory etc. I believe Facebooks ad review is done by bots so does anyone have any tips on what I could do to get this ad approved? The ad does ask a question and says the word “you” but I’m wondering if there is anyway to get it approved without editing it. Thanks

Write in the announcements that not for someone the product, but in general terms.

I've had rejected ads ultimately approved simply by re-submitting - again and again! But generally have needed to edit them in some way. :-)

Don't think so... it's better to remove the "you" and other stuff and follow the ad policies. FB's bots are very great at reviewing.

You can always request for a manual review, there is an option for that.

I will second @PHP-Rockstars that Facebook ads will never approve anything they once showed error. You have to edit it.I tried the technique to resubmit ad but all you are doing is wasting you time.

So I’ve tried resubmitting the ad multiple times, I also completely edited out the question and the word “you” and it still keeps getting rejected. I also requested a manual review about 2 days ago but they still have not reviewed it. A couple weeks ago Facebook would approve this ad every single time now all of a sudden they are not approving any part of the ad even though I edited out the stuff they don’t want.

Wait for the review to be done. Just had one approved on Monday and submitted for review Friday
Same damn ad I did last week...different thumbnail which they rejected at first but approved after

In ads, you can never bypass what they are requiring. so don't waste time mate.
During November, i was trying to run an ad in specific diameter of New York. It showed error that you are targeting a specific community or area which may be racial. Until, i removed that filter, i was unable to run the ad.

It's better to edit the ad text before resubmitting otherwise the FB bots keep on rejecting them. There is an appeal option on the rejection but it takes about 24 hours to hear back from the Approval Team.

Basically, you can't use sentences that has a question mark on it. I have tried it before. There is also no way to bypass facebook ad review.

Try to rephrase your 'direct question' into an 'indirect question' or something similar. For example, instead of asking 'Do you think this product is for you?', ask 'You may wonder if this product is for you.'

And if you want to get rid of 'you', try maybe this: 'Just imagine what wonders this product will do to make your life easier'.
