Facebook Ads: Am I getting Fake Clicks, Bots? Please help.

I could use a little insight on a problem I am having with Facebook ads.

I started a campaign today and the numbers are really quite off. According to Facebook, I've received 118 clicks from them. However, when I look at the numbers in Prosper, I can only account for around 60 actual clicks.

I got to 60 by taking the total number of clicks (205) and subtracting all clicks by FB ips (there IPs showed up 145 times in my stats).

I'm using a VPS so it's fast, it can't be that people are clicking away before prosper can track them?

I'm really just stumped. Any idea of what's going on?

Probably bots. A study showed that 80% of FB ad clicks are from bots.

Don't use Facebook Ads. Majority of the clicks are from bots. Try something else.

I am experiencing the exact same thing but on a larger scale. I'm getting 1000 clicks a day on FB but my multiple analytics I have running all show the same thing and its nothing close to 1000.

The highest day I've seen of FB traffic in my analytics was just over 200.

This 80% fake clicks is all over the web and from my experience is 100% accurate. How are they getting away with this shit?

100% true. In my experience, I have seen likes people who dont even know to read the language on the page...most of them are bots...
