I had my account banned around May... Took me a couple months to get my account back.
Word of warning - it's extremely frustrating, but this is how I got it back...
Mainly, because they have an internal 'guidelines' they don't have anywhere on the site.
Look up FB's GO Program...
Sign up, or simply call them, and tell them you're very interested in learning how to properly advertise FB.
Mention that your ad was shut down, and would like to get it going again so you can be part of the Go program.
And ask if they can open a ticket for you - they usually volunteer this.
You'll be sent to support. They're the middleman between you and the Policy Team - and they don't get along.
Tell them honestly what's going on, tell them you've read the guidelines and are not sure why you were shut down.
But, I believe it may be because of xyz. (I'll tell you in a sec why they might shut down accounts not mentioned in their guidelines)
I've read the guidelines fully, but I believe this may be the issue. I'll remedy it immediately!
Please re-enable my account so I can work closely with the GO team and make sure my future ads are 100% FB approved.
- or something like that.
Big thing - don't quit! Make really nice with the support person communicating with the Policy team.
If you keep getting pushback (which you will), call again, or open another ticket, so you have a couple of support people working with you.
They told me their decision was final for about 2 months - but I simply wouldn't take no for an answer - insisting it was my bad, and I promise it won't happen again.
Point out what you did wrong, and now understand why you got disabled - and now that you realize this, you'll never do that again.
Now... FB advertising is not like regular advertising.
You can't use regular copywriting.
No scarcity tactics, no invoking negative feelings, and your landing page needs to be heavily branded.
It MUST be social.
And most of all, if you get your account back - keep your eyes locked on the negative feedback.
If it's too high, it'll raise red flags (that's what happened to me).
Hope this helps.
