facebook ad targetting

Im just starting my first campaign but couldnt find the answer to these questions. Is it possible to target people who have visited a specific country?
For example if Australians went to New Zealand in the last 24 months. Could I somehow target these people through their checkins at various NZ locations?

I don't think this option exists yet. I've bought facebook ads for one of my pages a few times with mixed results. It would be cool if they made an option for it to not be so basic.

The answer is NO. U will need to select which country to place ur ad, and FB will base on the users IP geo location and show them your ad.
