Can I start a Facebook page that is empty and just use ads to send clicks to a landing page?

Do I have to build a real FB page and account with followers and likes first?

Also, can you just send FB ad clicks to an offer? Do they look down on that or ban it?

All whitehat, I just want the traffic, I don't want any FB interaction.

I think your best bet would be to build a real FB page with followers and such. That way, you can avoid bans and still direct traffic wherever you want it to. It might take a long time though.
 
Yeah build fans to the page because they will also help you to grow the page further when they like and share it. Having some content on there will bolster the trust people will have in your site/brand etc. It all helps.

I'm not really a FB guy so I don't totally get how people use it. So if I made a FB ad, people would check out my page before clicking the ad?

Basically I want to use FB just like adwords.

Yes you can, the thing is if people like your page or sell it you are missing out on re-marketing to them for free.

You don't have to but it will help with credibility of your product/offer.

Depends on the offer, but if it is through a CPA network they will ban the URL, so you might want to research cloaking and other strategies.

I think chrisyoundsd summed it up pretty well. I sell to people that do just that, start selling offers from a brand new fanpage and it works well, but others prefer a long established one.

Yeah, I just don't understand Facebook as a platform so I don't want to bother with it. I have tried a few times and I have no idea why certain posts show up certain places, groups, etc. But I do want access to some of the targeted traffic.

But I can just send to an obvious landing page and FB doesn't mind that?
 
Can anyone know how to get started facebook ads with new account without getting banned.

Hi there, Ok so you required few likes and about 10 post any type of google pictures or any type.
By the way if you do market your landing page is only problem in results facebook not banned on that things !
Get few likes under 100-200 post about 10 related to your page. And start it ! you hv to make strategy before starting marketing !

Well, I started an ad, but it isn't getting any clicks yet. It says it's approved.

But maybe the page needs likes like the guy above said.

This was just sort of a test, but now I see if I want to advertise a totally different product I have to make a totally new account. Really seems pointless unless you base your marketing around Facebook and I don't.

I just wanted to use it like Adwords to advertise things, but I guess they don't want it to be used like that.
 
You need to test first. Try both ways with the small $ amounts, each niche is unique and requires a different approach

You don't need to build your facebook fanpage to advertise something, just put a profile pic, cover pic, post 2-3 bullshit articles/photos and then just go straight ahead promote the stuff you plan to.
Anyway, on new accounts, facebook will sometimes instantly approve your campaigns but actually its just a hidden review, you'll start getting traffic in a few hours. If it pases 24-30 hours without getting no traffic then its usually ban hammer (unusual activity error).
 
Don't need too many posts on FB page, or lots of likes.. I can publish ads with 1 day old FB pages.. BUT the most important thing is your acc quality and credit card quality.. Try to get away from VCCs..
Also if you want to promote CPA offers, you should use cloakers..
