Hi everyone, I had already created a Facebook ad earlier, and yesterday I added funds to it. The ad has been active since then, but only $0.50 has been spent so far. I’ve checked targeting, settings, and payment method, everything seems fine. Can anyone explain why the ad isn’t spending the full budget and how to fix this?

Sometimes it's normal. Give it a few more days. During the learning phase, weird things happen...

Sometimes it takes Facebook a bit to ramp up spending after adding funds, give it a few hours and check delivery; low bid or audience size can also throttle it.

Probably the niche to your cost per clicks

Sometimes FB limits delivery at first, let it run a day or two, or slightly expand targeting to help spend.

Your ad is likely stuck in the learning phase or has limited audience reach. Facebook's algorithm is cautious with initial spends. Check your Audience Size (should be at least 1M for broad targeting) and Bid Strategy (avoid minimum ROAS if you're just starting). Duplicating the ad set can sometimes force the system to restart delivery.

Sometimes FB throttles new or low-quality accounts, or the audience is too narrow. Try broadening targeting and checking ad relevance, spend usually picks up after a day or two.

If your FB ad is active but underspending, it usually means narrow targeting, low audience size, or high competition; try broadening your audience or adjusting bids.

Sometimes this happens with new accounts. They go into learning phase and it may start spending more soon. In the meanwhile you can check your audience it should be wide for enough reach. I would suggest to wait for 4-5 days more and if it doesnt start spending then make a new campaign!

The issue lies with the advertising account itself; it needs to be changed. I notice this constantly myself; I don't know what causes it, but an ad can be active for a week and still not generate any clicks. The only solution is to replace the advertising account.
