1. Setup & Environment
  • Use trusted aged profiles (via).
  • Log in from stable IP & clean browser (AdsPower, GoLogin...).
  • Avoid multi-device login or frequent IP changes.
2. Page & BM Preparation
  • Create a real-looking Page (profile pic, cover, posts).
  • Connect Page to BM, add payment method.
  • Create Pixel and a few campaigns (no need to run yet).
3. Ad Warm-Up (Day 1–5)
  • Start with low-budget campaigns ($1–3/day).
  • Use safe objectives: Page likes, Engagement, Video views.
  • No conversion, no suspicious content or landing pages.
  • Gradually increase budget (max +20–30% per day).
4. Best Practices
  • Don't turn ads on/off too often.
  • Avoid editing live ads repeatedly.
  • Don’t scale too fast or switch creatives suddenly.
5. Avoid
  • Blackhat links, spammy content, aggressive CTAs.
  • Using new ad accounts with high daily budget right away.
  • Violating Facebook’s ad policy (even by mistake).

You’re covering the right steps overall, especially for low-risk warm-up. But in practice, Facebook isn’t just reacting to spend levels ,it’s reading behavioral signals constantly. I’ve seen accounts warm at $3/day that still get flagged, while others at $50 slide through clean, just because the session flow, IP trust, and browser history looked natural.

The part about “no conversion” during warm-up is smart, but you might want to mention the importance of interaction too. If you launch a Page that looks too sterile ,zero messages, no clicks, no pixel fires ,it can still get flagged for inactivity or low trust.

Also worth noting: editing ads too often isn’t just bad practice, it actually triggers minor resets in the learning phase, which can lead to random bans if the account is still fragile.

Totally agree on the slow warm-up and stable environment - that’s where most people mess up without realizing it, keep activity natural on the page too (likes, shares, comments) during warm-up. Helps with trust score.

It’s a solid, methodical approach to warming up Facebook ad accounts safely. Key strengths:
  • Trusted profiles & clean setup reduce risk of bans.
  • Gradual activity builds trust with the system.
  • Safe objectives & low budgets help avoid early flags.
  • Clear do's and don'ts for scaling safely.
Overall: practical, policy-compliant, and low-risk when done properly.

Totally agree with your opinion, account startup should be slow, don't rush

I think that after logging in, you shouldn’t create a campaign and run ads immediately. You should wait 3–5 days before starting to advertise. If you run ads right after logging in from a new IP, Facebook might flag your ad account due to suspicious activity.

This is a safe process for nurturing and starting a Facebook advertising account, helping to avoid checkpoints, restrictions, or deactivation.

I completely agree on the importance of a slow warm-up and stable environment. Many overlook this. Keep page activity natural (likes, shares, comments) during warm-up to improve trust scores.

The article summarizes the startup process very clearly, emphasizing the right points: profile reliability, clean IP, and how to nurture accounts with a small budget in the early stages. Prioritizing safety goals and limiting sudden changes also shows an understanding of how machine learning systems evaluate behavior. However, I wonder if anyone has tried to compare the effectiveness of using a "pre-nursed" account for several weeks versus using a purchased account that is already active, in the same setup flow? Does the system favor accounts with a more stable behavioral history, even if the content and spending are similar?

Your outline is 90% there. With patience + natural behavior + consistent logins, these warm-ups have high survival rates. Curious what results others are getting with this method recently.

Great checklist overall — especially the gradual warm-up and safe campaign objectives in the first 5 days. However, I’d question whether creating a Pixel and campaigns before any real activity is necessary — doesn’t that trigger unnecessary reviews? Also, what’s your take on using aged vs. newly farmed profiles in today’s stricter environment?

Thanks for your comment.

Thank you. I agree with you.

Thanks for sharing!

I’m doing the same on my side, but sometimes it still depends on luck. Haha

after that, when your campaign violates their policy, they still scan and the warm-up period doesn't mean much anymore. So you need to create proper ads as well
