Facebook account keeps getting suspended and reinstated!?

Hey guys,

I have a little problem with a personal Facebook acount. It's very important for me as I use it to market an event that I cannot do in my own name. Every week Facebook blocks the account with their checkpoint, asking me to upload a photo showing myself. Every single time I upload a photo of a driving licence (100% legit looking) and it gets re-instated in max 48h. But this same thing keeps happening again and again but I don't understand why?

The account is a UK guy with a dedicated UK IP address, on a VMware workstation with Windows. I use this same setup for more secured things like eBay and PayPal so I don't understand what keeps triggering this Facebook checkpoint.

I'm not really doing any "suspicious activity" on the account. I only take care of the event page and randomly like stuff on my newsfeed.

same with me tooo i pray they fix this shit soon i wonder if why they even would do this they are losing customer and losing money

I have the same issue. I have multiple accounts and Facebook keep asking me to upload photos.

me too. tired create a new one and get banned in 10 minutes

It's really weird, it seems like every time I post something onto an event that gets a lot of likes, it triggers the checkpoint.

You're lucky to even be able to create an account. Anytime I try to create an account while on a VPN I get the stupid checkpoint before I'm able to do anything. It's really annoying.

It's most likely the page itself, which is getting some reports, therefore you get the checkpoint. It happens to me too on an account when I go a bit over the top and get a lot of complaints, but always gets reinstated within 12hours.

Yeah you must be right, hundreds of people are reporting it. It's not actually a page but a big party event with thousands of participants.
