Hi all,

I'm writing some crawler to get public FB profiles. First of all, is it legit to talk about this topic here? If not plz, say so and idealy redirect me to the correct place ;)

The crawler is working fine, main problem is to get valid profiles to be used in the crawler. So im interested in 2 things:

1) Are there any well known criteria by which facebook assigns its "trust" to an account? Because some of my accounts are very "stable" where other are blocked within a few hundred profiles.... Or is this by chance?!
2) Are there any well known networking / request limits/strategies used to avoid blocking? I know there wont be a exact limit like 10 request per minute are ok, but I think here are people with a lot of experience in this fied, so... ?! Any "trusted" proxies?

Would be happy to find some people to talk about this and share some experiences.

ok, if this is not the place for this, or no one knows sth. Maybe somebody knows an other place to aks this questions?

Didnt got properly , what are you trying to do with that exactly ?

Crawl as many profiles/pages/whatever as fast as possible in facebook simultaneous.

Hope your accounts are Phone verified and Try to use some Private Proxies per account so that, fb thinks that its getting logged in from same ip everytime. This will surely help. And try these account to look Orignal, i mean some social interaction with these.

To get it right: Private proxys are "rented" by my own, correct? Any advise where to go or are the providers similar?
Actually Im working with proxies from xroxy, do you know a better source for public proxies?

And to put on the programming level: Does any one have experiences how many request per minute per account are 'valid'. Just asking for experiences, now hard limit, I know that there is non.

Yes you need to buy Private proxies, if you find private proxies costly thn u can buy Shared Proxies too, they are little bit cheap from private one. For Public proxy proxyrack is best, thousand's of working proxies.

I dont have any about how many requests per minute you should set. But keep it really really low if you want your accounts be to alive. Facebook has been very strict these days, They just put a ban or restrictions on accounts these days really fast and that too for like 15 days or even a month.
