You can't have a definitive answer because that will depend on many thing :
How you put the ad (the text / picture / call to action) and also the targeting , so I suggest you read a lot before investing your 300 $ and don't invest it at once , start with 100 $ and test the most attractive ads then scale them.

you can get a shitload. i would start with 5$ ads to see which one preforms the best.. cats is so easy barley need to spend..

No , If the ad is good or if you try clickbait then you can even get more than 11K likes.

Don't spend everything on page like promotion. Allocate some amount for page like and some for post promotion. If any of your post goes viral, you will get much more likes on the page from that. Also promoting a post will keep your page super active. As mentioned earlier in this thread, start small and analyze.

If you want targeted likes from tier 1 countries, it will cost a good amount to get likes on your page.
If you only want likes for social proof, you can target third world countries with broad targeting interests and get really cheap page likes. I got over a 1000 page likes for $6.83 by targeting these cheap countries. Some of the countries you can target using this include Bangladesh, India, Algeria, Philippines, Turkey, etc. Just search google for cheap countries to target on FB and you'll find good answers.
