face book fanpage help

Today i tried to create a facebook profile for my new website so i gave the first name my website name but facebook didn't allow me to start a profile instead it asked me to create a fan page , So i created one directly with out a profile . But facebook says that if i need to have it branding then i need to add a profile in it and for that i need to verify the new created profile
my question here is
If i created a profile (with my real name As facebook is asking for my mobile number to verify and if it not works i need to send a photo id ) i do not want my relatives and friends know that i am running a fan page ( i don't want to mix relations with business )

will the person who visti the fan page will be able to access my profile page ( I don't want this either ) i am not doing any thing shady but i prefer this way

any one experiences with facebook please guide me .

i cant post urls but facebook help/203830189654333/ is your friend. Basically it upto you in settings if they see you as involved in page or not.

Could you please explain it a bit more as i am confused here .

Basically t will depend on the actual settings you decide upon in the fan page settings as to whether people can see you as page admin or not.

There is no way to tell who the administrator of a fan page is. So if you start a personal profile in order to set up the fan page, no one will know it is you who is running it (assuming you don't like the page or interact with it in any way on a user level). People who visit the page will not be able to see your personal profile.

Just be careful when you are posting/sharing or doing other things on the page that you are acting as the fan page and not as your personal account.

I am sure there is going to be a way to hide your profile. Why dun you just make a alternate profile and go on with the project?

It depends on your facebook setting. If you want to visible to all people , they can see your own profile, but if it is invisible, noone can see.
