F/uF in 2020. Experimenting and some tips so far

Its really nice you are trying to help but then again these type of information is what led to the current state.
Its important to stop thinking that achieving big following numbers in days is the route to making it on IG, all the information you have provided will only make people do the same mistake of choosing quantity over quality.
No matter what niche (unless its not that widely talked about on social media) should aim for 30% follow back ratio.
If you focus on who exactly is following you back you don't really have to waste your time following 500 people please make efforts on making quality follows of 200 or so.
If you do that you can handle many accounts.

Even F/UF should be used to only get the account off the ground in the beginning and then later on try and post content similar to the big accounts in your niche, Use a combination of hashtags the big accounts use and post frequently. The account will grow organically if things are done right.
I totally agree with. I am pretty much targeting specific account that usually engage with niche specific content. F\uF is typically done to reach an engagement that can make your posts to explore page, other than that I agree with you its not very practical and can lead to worse engagement if they were not engaging at all.
I am planning to stop, as with my other accounts I grew before, when reaching aroung 1500 followers where you can expect aroung 600+ likes on your posts, a potential push to the explore page.

Thanks for your insights,

You follow 70 people each hour?

Seriously. That is begging for a perma block.

Well it worked. I got AB on one account that's why I decreased the amount to 50. I have been doing it for the past 2 weeks with no issues

Can you suggest any app cloner apps except the build in one from xaomi. Because from what I know apps like parallel space do not work that good.

So an update :

the action block on my 2nd account will be off tommorow. I had an old account which I used to go crazy and follow like 900 per day and got action blocked even deactivated for some time. I noticed after close observation is it got flagged as soon as I use a 3rd party app to unfollow. I gave it a 10 day rest and started following with a lower rate like 30 per hour and going. this is the day so far and no blocks. i will need to go a little bit longer to see if 10 days is enough to get an account (unflagged).

The first account running ok with a rate of 50 follows per hour and a max of 300 ish per day . as I mentioned above I decided to go slower after the 2nd account got the AB.

This is a speculation, but It seems like as soon as you account is AB one time, It will be flagged and the limits will be lower for a period of time. if this is correct that means if 10 days is enough you can go back to your previous rate of following

Here is an overview of the 1st account.

How much time minutes per followings?

well I didn't experiment with different apps as there are so many. In your experience what was wrong with parallel space. but I use 2accounts and It works perfectly.

So a little update with some new strange findings.

- No action block so far with the 50 per hour rate. Max 300-400 per day witha a gain of 60 followers. Those are directed followers which interact really well. The engagement rate is really great .

- If your account got action block its advised to wait at least 10 days before starting the following again. My blocked account kept getting action block while I had another account which was lying around after a series of AB and even deactivation for about 3 times, I started with the above rate after 10 days and so far no action block.

-Important to not doing anything beside following in the hour of each cycle. and also important to simulate real user as said with browsing your home between cycles.

-this is really strange!! My 2 accounts when started out ( both were aged for around 1 year) I couldn't see any likes on any post at all. now suddenly I can do that on both account after going more than 500 followers. I wonder if IG is not viewing the likes yo low followers account or it has to do with business accounts as both accounts are business.

Here is a little overview of the account. I was sick in the weekend so I was not that active. but even though the follow back percent is not that bad. you can expect 200 followers for every 900-1000. after reaching 5000 you pretty much have a high chance to get ranked on explore and getting gains from there ,

I have f/UF follow back ratio 50 % and more, some accs 70 % and these accounts will not provide any value whatsoever to anyone at the end of the day.

I create them for sale as there is a market for this, but to be honest these accounts are useless.

Even 100 k Instagram accounts are pre6much worthless. It kinda amazes me that people in here think if they have 20-30 k accounts they will start drop shipping.. they wont get any sales from there.

I have purchased accounts over 100 k myself just to boost my brand and have some traffic source to compensate the blackhat link building and add some value to the brand when the site gets sold but at the end of the day, these accounts will not provide absolutely any value to the business itself.

As you said, people choose quantity over quality every time and there will always people who buy these accounts and now more than ever since the bots are dead, but it wont help in the long run your dropship site or any other business.

All these <1 mil accounts are sold only for one reason, they dont make money and if they do then via shoutouts from dummies who think they will sell some products.

Why dont you do 200 follows per day?

The monthly limit is reduced to 6000 actions so you will fill it up with 12 days this getting the action blocks.

That's the way 'gurus' have made people look at things. That is also how the influencer marketing is thriving. Just as you said there's a market for this, There is gold out there but selling shovels (services and accounts) is more stable when it comes to IG.

Although i don't really know whats OP's intentions are i assume he's leaning more towards the shovel business (shoutouts).

Did you tested if it changes device id, imei, build props etc.?

I have not tested but I have used the app for 6 months and it gives mixed results. The IG detects that these are coming from same device (to some extent) as when I switch between 20 accounts I can see the search history is the same for all those accounts.

But then I open another 10 accs and the history is different.

But none of my accs have ever been deactivated so this means Instagram can't know what I'm doing or at least not in this scale.

If you want to move forward and do this safely then you need 2 phones for this setup.

F/UF with 1 phone first and then give it a rest for 5 minutes while using a different phone for f/UF.

Otherwise you end up waiting with one phone in your hand while you give it a rest and that's not very productive.

As you cannot switch between accounts instantly to follow unfollow. They need some rest and this way I dont get AB'd.

Need to start with 30 follows per day per account for fresh accs.

Then 50-70 follows.

And then 100-120 follows in one setting, twice a day.

I can go up to 200 follows in one setting, but that means I need to wait 2 days to do it again or AB is instant.

Also you need a sophisticated mobile phone for this.

If you go over 100 accs then be prepared to have 10 GB space for this app only + extra for everything else, otherwise it lags and stops working.

Dont forget you need around 40 different mobile browsers for verifications and all that shit.

I don't have so much knowledge around the shovel business. If you have the time to enlight me please do.

I haven't thought it out. But you are partially right as I am thinking about dropshipping self made products.(somehow) in addition to shoutouts as where I came from its is a good business with local businesses.

If you can the numbers, do you think it's better to grow and sell instead of grow and monetize?

do you think it's better to grow and sell instead of grow and monetize?

This would totally depend on the people who you are targeting. Look at the other pages in your niche which have sold products try to target those who have engaged with that posts.
When you do target people like that the follow back ratio will be way less than it is now but you will be gaining potential customer.

What @Camp59 meant by his message was. When you do F/UF without much targeting the numbers will grow but the people who have followed you back are mostly not potential customers but rather just there for the content.
Which is also not bad as you can grow these accounts and then sell it or provide shoutouts to other accounts in your niche.

There's not that much of a difference between growing and selling/ growing and monetizing. It all depends on how you targeted people and how your sale tactics goes on. One requires only knowing about growing accounts and the other require marketing skills + growing accounts.
You can also use the accounts you've grown to promote your products and once the sales have completely stopped coming in from the particular account you can sell it (do make sure the engagement is good after the ads).

What you are doing now (the basis of this thread) is figuring out how to get followers, Once you have found out how to do it and what works for you then you can think about what you want to do.
For now find your way to grow the accounts and then to grow many accounts simultaneously. You'll start to piece it together yourself once you've got the hang of it.
It's not easy as it used to be on IG but it also still one of the easiest way to make money online.

I don't have so much knowledge around the shovel business. If you have the time to enlight me please do.

When your accounts become a product or a service its simply is shovel business xD.
Ex: selling grown accounts, shoutouts, mother-slave service etc.
