It’s like yin and yang, there’s a trade-off for everything in life, everything needs to be in balance. Let’s not forget the 12-year-bull-run we’ve had, the insane developments and science and technology from the likes of elon musk, etc. I’m really not surprised so much crazy shit is happening, both from a global and micro perspective. I had a huge shipment coming from one state to another. At the time it was shipped my state didn't have lockdown, and now that it's in transit it's a lockdown again till 31st July. My god!

Economy and science of the Western world should not really be a measuring stick for any development. I don't think it matters for the vast majority of people whether they can go to space with Mr. Musk

What I observed in the last 12 years is that the differences between rich and poor grew again in the world, we had 8 warmest years in the last 100, quality of food, water, and air deteriorated almost everywhere (this actually improved slightly after the start of covid), and an average Joe got a bit more sheepish again (if that was even possible
