The problem is that unless Googles results are atrocious or a significantly better alternative shows up nothing like this will happen.

The problem with your theory is that people like me will jump on the opportunity for people to "quit seo" I mean that is a lot less competition.

Less competition = same traffic = more money in my pocket.

The whole story about white/black hat types of links is funny, every link that build in order to get a better ranking, no matter if you are doing it manual or automatically is synthetic and blackhat, the only backlink which can be accepted as a "white hat" is the link which some of your visitors create on their own web sites because they really like your site.
So basically google is eating s h i t with all their updates, and the only thing behind that story is to get more people to pay them for their stupid adwords ads.
 
Why would I do that? This forum is highly enjoyable with all its bad information. As for the OP, we site owners would like nothing more than for you spammers to take a hike off of Google and let us legit people continue as we were.

So, shoo, be gone from Google.

Make sure you block Google from indexing your site too.

I understand the hate you are holding toward google. Don't you worry about it, they will fall . Dont place your hopes on the governement or anything like that. Google funded Obama's compaign, has lobbys everywhere in every country.

It's like Amazon tax issue in the UK, Even the seo has been audited in the parlement, this was like 1 year ago , what's new today ? Nothing they are still almost not paying the taxes.

Golden sachs have made public appologies inside the senate and to the All medium class US citizen to whom they've f*cked up their life forever turning them homeless.

Don't expect anything from the governement.

Don't you worry , if google started in garage with two geeks . I'm saying that there a whole of Garages and many geeks left. These are the ones who will take google down.

Meanwhile FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, YOu've been HIT ? Means a website has taken your place ! Run a deep analysis and find out WHY he has taken your place.

Looking at my visitor stats on one of my sites I saw a couple of people come from duck duck go. Did the wtf? and went and had a look. A little search engine for anonymous searching when I put in one of the keywords I have wanted to rank for (page 4 of google) I am in #3 spot!! They are now my favourite search engine :)
really though I forget to use them and but they actually use a perpetual scroll which I thought was cool

No, you will not, you will probably just be caught up in bitching over Google. Believe it or not, Google has had many of updates since it began. The only difference these days is every kid with a laptop thinks he is an internet genius, SEO guru, when to be honest, they are not. Rank sites and bank, bitching will get you nowhere.
 
Google will not change to appease businesses, but instead they will continue to adapt to consume even more marketing dollars by pushing organics out of search. Unless you are a magician, ranking above paid ads will be kind of hard if you are not using Adwords.

Flood the FTC with complaints, and something may happen that forces Google to give up something - even if it's a small concession. But the FTC is closed until further notice because of the government shutdown. Don't worry though, all Federal workers will get paid whether they are at work or eating popcorn watching Jerry Springer at home. The FTC did such a fine fucking job at ensuring competition in the digital world over the years that they earned the right to get paid to do nothing. But nothing is what they are good at doing regardless of where they plop their fat asses at.
 
You should stop creating these bogus threads. If you don't know SEO, that doesn't mean SEO is dead. "Google is a bitch, bla bla bla.." Stop complaining, and go learn how to properly do SEO. From now on if I see any types of threads like this created again, I will neg repp the OP. Stop creating useless threads, and start taking action! If you do a hell of a lot of experimenting then you will learn on your own.

You can "know" seo well and still have gotten hit. I have sites that went up and sites that got hit, the best SEO'ers I know and I know some really good ones have got hit as well as gone up. That's great you showed us an example of your one site, real amazing there. The best SEO people on this forum have said they got hit, if you deal with a large amount of websites or deal in competitive niches you know what it's like. I'm glad your little PR 0 either burn and churn or little niche site is ranking well but that doesn't prove shit.

If there were always people like you nothing would get changed because people would just say deal with it. People do need to do something about this growing monopoly, if you want to call it bitching fine but something needs to be done. You obviously haven't been doing SEO long if you haven't been hit, even the best do, so stfu with your smug all mighty attitude. Nobody is saying give up on SEO, but if you don't see a problem with what's going on with G00gle, you haven't looked around much.
