F*CKING Neighbors!!!

I need to blow of some steam and have a moan and possibly get some creative ideas.

I have an upstairs neighbor, who is an absolute MORON. This family is a proper jerk off family.

The parents don't work, they are loud, bang, have had problems with other neighbors and in general they are nuisances.

They now have a 17 - 18 year old daughter, who seems to now trying to provoke the situation.

They are banging all the time, been loud and brash and in general been nuisances. The other day I told her straight "To shut her fucking noise" but she seems to think it's funny and is one of those kids who is 17 but think she's 40 years old and knows the world. When she knows sweet fuck all, sits in the house all day, is becoming a nuisance, is getting mouthy and trying to provoke and harrass on a daily basis.

I am running out of patience now. Really running out of patience.

Do any of you have any creative ideas to send a message to this bitch.

Seriously, they are rats. I mean really, really, stupid, irritating rats. They seem to think they are "intelligent" and act as if they can't be touched or there will be no consequences. I'm fed up of it, I am trying to work but they are also shouting through the walls. She's one of those, likes to provoke, get mouthy but on the street, she says sweet fuck all. They are cowards.
 
Well, just knock the door and ask them politely to lower the sound as they aren't the only one living there. If persists....well.... I'm not sure. Haven't been in this situation before. But I guess asking them politely might do it.
 
What is sleep time in your country?

Get a good ass speaker and set it with full volume for a whole day exactly from the time when sleep time ends to the time it starts. Choose some kind of headache music like hard rock etc. Keep it like that till they understand. You can hang to your friends and family at that time.

Not the brightest idea. I suppose, the OP has more than one neighbor. Her relationship is bad with that one upstairs neighbor only. If she does, what you suggest, she will have issues with the others too. lol

To OP: If it's a rental and you tried everything already with no success, you can get the property manager/landlord involved.

Yes sure it will involve other neighbors and that way you will bring your problem in public. By adding more people you can start a discussion and that can lead in to some kind of agreement. You just have to keep strong about your opinions and actions to the end.
 
Report them to your council for being too loud.

All jokes aside, make noise complaint to either your landlord or cops.
 
just talk to them and let them know how inconvenient it is for you to listen to them every single day and threaten legal action. then if that option didn't work buy a baseball bat and knock on the door pretend you don't know what you're doing and swing it 700 times in the air.

For sure, but you might not want to make an enemy out all of your neighbors at once by playing loud music for a day. lol Who does that, really?

If you want to start a discussion, then start a discussion. If you have a good/neutral relationship with the others, you can simply tell them, that you have an issue with that specific neighbor. If that particular neighbor is really that bad, there's a good chance, the other neighbors feel the same. Unity is strength, but it might still not be enough, if what the annoying neighbor is doing is within the law and they don't give a rats ass about others. They're banging and whatnot as the OP put it, but how loud can you bang? It won't qualify as noise disturbance. :) The annoying neighbor can still tell the OP to take a hike, which they do/did.
Noise disturbance in itself is usually under the threshold of cops unless it's paired with domestic violance or drugs for instance.
It's also different, if it's a rental or their own property.

It's a complicated situation to be in and not rarely there's no solution other than earplugs or relocating.

The subwoofer comments DO work. My old place next door used to blast music at stupid o'clock id knock and be nice and he would stop for a week and then it would kick back up. In the end I got my subwoofer pointed it at the wall, put the bass up and just walked out of the house for the weekend. NEVER had a problem again.

Last place we lived was a "poor" area but you got a lot of house for the money just the area was rough as hell - we never went out locally so was never a problem! We or (I) was constantly fighting with neighbours over blocking driveways, kids being shits or what ever...

ANYWAY one day I arrested for assault and due to past "issues" I had two riot vans turn up to collect me after that no one in that street and the actual surrounding streets ever messed with me or caused us any problems the entire time we lived there :)

Another time we had some new neighbours who always blocked the drive way and would never move so I went online and hired a tipper truck for the weekend went to the local scrap yard and bought a pile of broken engines loaded the tipper truck and parked it a few streets over. I waited for the family to go out and I drove the truck onto their drive and access and dumped a pile of car engines. They got the hint...

It's all very well action "action" like that or anything above my post but you have to be prepared for any come back the same as reporting them IF you are the only one who told them to shut the fuck up and then they get a noise complaint it's obvious it's you.

Beat them with their own gun. Brutal, but working. If they don't give a fu*k about the noise they do and none of legal options working there is only a war methods which apply here.

just curious, how do they provide for the family then?

I used to have couples of neighbor from hell as well, there's not much that I can do since they own their property, while I am not. So, I am just moving to a better place, can focus on my freelance work since then without any annoying situation. My income is also getting more steady because of the focus and a better environment.
