F*ck you facebook

I don't know where to turn and my friends don't understand any of this matter. I don't need help, I've seen in similiar posts on BHW that are within the year 2020 with the same problem as I have.

I ran facebook WH ads for personal business stuff since 2015, accumulated over 10'000$ spendings (I don't have a job) so that's a lot for me.
Beginning of August 2020 I wanted to promote a selfmade eBook about weightloss all WH, within the fb policies. huge mistake. everything went down the shitroad from there. first my main business account get blocked. I create a new business account for only that eBook. what a mistake again. account gets blocked, sent about 10 appeals, chatted with dozends fucking concierge support staffs that know shit about my life. I run a young startup that relies on fb ads and thanks to this shit eBook i lost now everything.

Sure I can buy fb accounts, but everything just gets so complicated now.

What is the reason they gave you for blocking your business manager accounts ?
Weight loss is in the list of prohibited contents for Facebook ads, you need to make them in a very specific way for them to be allowed : "Ad content must not imply or attempt to generate negative self-perception in order to promote diet, weight loss ".

You can always double check their rules, and adapt your ads to them. That way you won't break rules by accident.

Yes, should have read the rules more in the first place. There was a woman that was a bit too skinny i guess, in the ad and on the website, that was for the first time. the next 3 times I got banned, they just said i had "Unacceptable business practices" no further explaination. When I contacted the support, they told me about 4 times everything looks ok and they would appeal for me but nothing happened, just "final decisions"

I really hate this so much. I don't even know whether I can now advertise my normal startup in an purchased Ad profile from here without getting banned

Facebook is confronted with shitty ads every day. They are blocking without mercy. If the account is so important to you, you should have studied their policies carefully.

come on man, keep doing business with other platforms, if you got banned from FB, go ahead and move to other sources and you will see the results, fb is a small piece in this puzzle, I think you can get some kind of success if you put clear your mind (first of all) and move to other sources to do whatever you want. In this business, suspended accounts is part of this. Good luck!

Funny but today I struggle with Instagram more than with facebook.

Being working with the bitch since 2018 on my day job, I second thread name with every muscle fiber of my heart.

Usual situation: planned an urgent campaign launch with a client, did the work, sent ads to moderation. Boom! Account blocked. Sent application. "Sorry, your ads was blocked by mistake". Ok. Clock ticking.

Made some changes, added some adsets. Sent to moderation. Blocked. Another day or two, another "Sorry, we're mistaken".

Launch three. Account banned. Final decision.

Contract f'd up, money lost, days of work lost for free. Thanks, FB!

And as far as my experience go, when your account gets blocked once - everything usually goes pretty bad pretty fast. Even when they keep telling you that it was a mistake, every launch from this ads manager, every new ad becoming a pretty dangerous game. New blocks will come. Not always, but most of the time.

It's unfortunately just not sustainable to have a business practice where the only income stream comes from one website. If you have say google adsense as a first site or one of your sites then that's fine since you can diversify. If you also then use Facebook for another site sure, fine. If you are making one big site though it just seems so risky to have your income tied to one company. You really need multiple monetization channels. When patreon made a change last year many people lost tonnes of subscribers. They reverted it back but the subs were lost already.

I'm sorry to hear that I feel your pain.
To me, this whole world is corrupt and built upon deceit. There is no absolutes except whatever man decides it to be. That is not an absolute moral law or truth.
Whether or not you deserved it, injustices are happening all the time known or unknown to us 24/7/365 worldwide. Everything is just a game. We are forced to play along and play well with others, if not, suffer the consequences. The rules can change at anytime for any reason and it seems that this world is more about "knowing how to be a good person and follow the rules" rather than to actually be one. It's not about actual truth but the perception of truth. It's this giant interwoven web and network that we call life and overarching prince of darkness that is sovereign in this realm is "suffering". Life is suffering. But this is only one side of the narration

i hate facebook with all my heart, i would never ever make a business that heavily depends on a single platform anyway.

And a story has always two side, this opend now the (mental) gates for me to buy fb accounts with all the struggle that comes with it and advertise every shit I want, because blocks don't affect me as much anymore. Let's continue and make business.!

Move on to twitter, Reddit or google ads

Switch to a different Ad stream. FB isn't the only guy in the game.
