F*ck Gas Prices!

Ok.. so $2.75 and $3.00 per gallon is pretty insane.. yeah?

I wake up this morning, and to fill up the car $3.50!!!
It would cost me $60 to fill up my Camaro on Empty.

Ok.. I get that the cost of Oil is going up but you can not honestly tell me that it's necessary that we need to raise prices to $3.50.. and that's not all

Government officials are predicting that Gas Prices will hit $4.00 or even more this summer!

These oil companies are playing a damn game if you ask me.. lining their pockets with more money as they walk away from the bank's laughing. If you're going to raise the price of something, it might as well be something we depend on every day...

You know, for a war that is supposedly about "stealing oil" (no blood for oil), we sure aren't reaping the benefits of it....

Also, why is a gallon of Coca Cola (sugar, syrup and water) almost the same price as a gallon of gas, which has to be pumped out the ground as oil, and then shipped to america to be refined? Talk about getting raped.

oil and gas prices going up and down is very complicated game that has many factors in, what still sunrise me more and more is that even if oil prices high rocket we don't get any benefit here in Algeria, knowing it's one of oil exporting countries, LOL!
I hope oil will go back to it's normal prices ...

by the way isn't it an opportunity for webmaster to sell how-to gas ebooks? it's gonna be a very hot niche

The price of EVERYTHING will increase as gas prices increase click. I actually used to have the idea that with the advent of huge transport plans in wwII the majority of shipping was done by airfreight now, but within the country (and even from mexico and canada) tractor trailors (the big long trucks) are still the primary method of getting goods to markets.

Another fun fucked up fact, is most people dont know there is a $1.50 gas price embedded by the federal government on every gallon of gas purchased. In the 70s they cut back on this tax during the oil crisis in order to reduce prices to reasonable rates. However I suppose now increaseing our income taxes and state taxes until we almost bleed dry isnt enough so they just couldnt do something useful like that.


Another thing most people dont know about oil,
The Iraqi war was VERY likely about oil, but contrary to popular belief it was not about getting MORE. Rather, for people like old G.W Dumbass, and Cheyney (along with 30-40 other higher ups in our government) It was about intentionally pissing off the middle east. As the OPEC sets the standard oil price for the world market, they can raise it as high as they want whenever they want. Now since old G.W and his cronies have oil wells right here in America (along with several other third world nations) they automatically double-or even triple there personal profits via these increased prices.

There all a bunch of thugs and gangsters, you think of criminals as the uneducated inner city kids, or violent broken down old men who lash out at society (and when these individuals break the law they most certainly ARE criminals.) But the true criminals, the biggest and most disgusting ones-There on Cspan every day. Any man or woman who can stand by while bleeding a country try, spit on hundreds of years of democracy and all the blood lost by the soldiers and police officers, nurses and doctors, and good people out there who dedicated there lives to building what we once have-Thats the true crime.

Oh and knowingly sending thousands of Americans to there deaths to make more money. That to.

Yep, gas prices are crazy, but, outside of the Middle East, you won't find gas any cheaper than here in the US, even with the state & federal taxes levied. Try filling your Camaro up in the UK or the rest of Europe.

I remember gas being $0.93-0.97/gallon when I was driving in highschool (94-96), back in the Clinton days.

This is my personal opinion of GW Bush: I don't think the man is competent enough to operate a water fountain, let alone concoct an intricate scheme to generate money. He would definitely have to be a puppet in the game.

I agree with you there. But he has his daddy, cheyney, and who knows how many figures in the shadows manipulating him.

Oh and another little theory a play around with, -In fact hes one of the smartest most ingenius people on the planet. By playing stupid, he gets away with murder.

But then no one can PLAY stupid that well.

Did you notice the lady reading a book behind him during the state of the union? I got a kick out of it.

I suppose the embedded tax has been raised as well then.

I found a nifty little chart... This however is for canadian gas prices. It gives one a good idea of the varius different organizations that tax oil from its crude form before it reaches us though. Youd think with the stuff running out they CUT taxes to keep up with supply and demand as long as they could.

But then they ARE making more money this way.

In Belgium (western Europe) we pay ?1.5 per litre. That's $8,25 per gallon!
It just keeps on rising.

You guys are complaining about $3- a gallon? (4.545 litre ) we pay €1.54- ($

2.36) a litre gas, so i think you guys are getting gas for a bargain to be honest.

Just out of curiosity, what is the average commute (in miles/kilometers) for people in most of Europe?

My country is still heavily subsidizing the petrol!!!

We only USD0.60 per litre!!!

The average commute in west-europe is about 10000 km (6214 miles) a year.

Is that total miles driven, or just to/from work?

The avarage in Holland is also about 10000/15000 KM, in total because we are the size of NY

Ah okay, yes I figured that would be a bit much for a smaller European country if it was just to/from work. The average number of miles driven (in total) per person in the us is 15,000 miles. Even though we drive double the distance, you guys are still getting worse prices than us, though not by much. I suppose it's because of our gas taxes/subsidizing.

Gas is only $0.05/gallon in Iraq, thanks to US tax payers =(
