I submitted a few articles. Approved. It has been days and not indexed. I even pinged them, rss'ed them... no result.

Has ezine lost it? I remember articles used to get indexed in hours not days.

If your articles are relating to various news subjects, try my site ypim.co.uk, the articles get indexed within minutes. Find my post in the White Hat section and that includes a few screenshots of recent activity.

I have noticed that also--and have stopped submitting to ezine articles. Not worth the time anymore, even if you have an article that's totally unique.

Ezine not really that useful post Panda. Much quicker and easier ways to get good links.

Gave up on EZA even before Panda. They have a poor interface for resolving editing an article for approval (never telling you upfront what the problem was). It's better to just submit the articles to a site supporting guest posts, social media, Web 2.0, or even a get paid article directory.

Ezine Articles now have very strict rules for submitting articles. And, what's worse, links from them lost a lot of value since Google Panda.

Well I would never use any public article database anyway. All the link juice goes to Ezines frontpage and then millions of articles have to share this little link juice... This is not worth it. Unless you create a few articles and do massive Tier2 and Tier3 linkbuilding to that article.

It's better to spend time writing articles for your own website. for sure

An update. Finally my article was indexed. I did get a massive boot in SERPs actually. Not totally unhappy.

The kicker is if your article gets picked up by a high pr scraper site. I had one picked up like that to a pr4 site, and that has helped a lot. Have to figure what articles get picked up and just write for those keywords/categories.

Smart bro....thanks for the insight

Ive not really had much look with Ezine Articles in years, there is so much better ways to use unique articles.

They are bad for articles beacuse of their OBL and highly spam interface with ads.

If I'm going to spend a lot of time or money writing a good article, post-panda and penguin I'm going to place that article on my own website.

I have to agree; back in the day Ezine was a great way to drive traffic and get decent link juice, now if you actually take the time to write articles by hand, you better use them on your own sites

Agree with both comments above. If you have great, engaging, and helpful articles, publish them on your site. Links from EZA are not that valuable as before, and traffic is not that decent as well.

However, good to know that OP's articles are now indexed...
