EzineArticles Completely Dead?

Hey all,

So I was compiling my lists of different types of High PR websites I can submit content to and...

When I was compiling article directories, I came across EzineArticles (once thought to be the best site for article SEO purposes) and doublechecked its PR with SEOQuake.

It used to be a 5 for sure (i think maybe even 6)...

but now its page rank is N/A!

Does this mean that google has completely devalued all the site's content now? Do you guys think its now useless to even post to ezinearticles?

I know they took a big hit with Panda and have changed some policies, but what do you guys think?

Am I missing something? (And before you ask, yes my SEOQuake is the latest version and checking PR with the proper server). Thoughts?

Hmmm, I just noticed it too when I read your post. All my articles with PR were gone, too. Checked it with SEO Quake as well and Search Status, PR=N/A.

What do you expect? There are thousands and thousands of people scraping content from Ezine. Duplicate content is everywhere now. 90% of internet marketers spin their content from Ezine.

The Panda hit them hard. Goodbye Ezine.
 
Its still PR 6 here in my FF searchstatus add on.
 
It's N/A for quite a while now. I really loved EZ a while ago when they had their HAHD and gave you presents for :-)
 
my recently published articles from ezine get indexed pretty quickly compared to other article sites though..
 
even google pr dropped to 9. Might be all because of Kung fu Panda :D
 
Ezinearticles Directory is Always Great..it produce Great Traffic..

and it have PR-6..it is good for all Indexing , Traffic.

I think it was common knowledge that ezine was a terrible terrible site in terms of quality :(
 
Hmm. I wonder why some people are still getting PR 6 and others N/A - the whole argument about scraped/dup content makes sense to me. Ahh well. there's still loads of high pr article directories out there.
 
google-pr [dot] net and checkyourpagerank [dot] com also not showing a PR.

I'm guessing the sites that still show PR6 may have a cached version of PR database and will get updated soon.

Compared to what? Article sites that auto approve submissions? I've seen alot worse.
 
Hey guys, I'm a n00b here.

According to my Google Chrome SEO plugin, Ezinearticle's home page has a PR of 6, but every page *below* the home page that I've visited shows a zero. So how much of that 6 from the home page passes through to a category, to an article, and through the back-link to your money site?
 
Yes, I think ezinearticles is an old strategy that doesn't have the power it used to have. Would spend my time elsewhere.
 
If i remember in last update Twitter was Pr0, FB PR10 and big G PR9, but it was fixed after a little time.
So i think EzineArticles will regain its PR.
