EZ Empire Builder??

i have ezeb and it is working great for me. i've only used csv uploading and i don't buy databases. i scrape them. i used visual web ripper to scrape any data i want and output them to csv files. it is effective and google is indexing my sites.

the only thing i noticed for this script is that it freezes when you upload big files. so i subdivide large csvs into batches of 500 lines using csvsplitter (free download). can't complain because this is a better uploading utility than using imacros to upload.

i also have this plug-in. I am just learning how to use it. It seems to be a pretty sick plug-in. It will litterally build thousands of pages on your site about different businesses or any other list that you add to it.
 
I'd like to see a try before you buy deal...7 days or 14 days would be a good enough trial period to kick the tires or take the program for a drive to see if you can operate the darn thing. Most coders can design trialware that shuts downs after a period of time...then you pay or you don't play...$200 bucks is $200 bucks and who wants to pay before you know how to work something or even if the thing is EZ as they claim...just my take on it.

Don't know too many softwares out there that do the "trial" versions anymore. Yeah, there are some out there but usually only the BIG software companies, like adobe, that generally do that. They can afford to! ;)

Hi there guys.

Ive been using it for the past couple of months. It can be amazing if well used for reports and big data feeds.

A quick tip for all the EZ empire users regarding its HTML format template - When you are creating the template forget about dreamweaver or similar software. What happens is that once you copy and paste your code onto the ezempire builder (even though it gives you the correct preview) it breaks down once you ve actually posted your feeds. To properly format and customize it do it through your wordpress "add new post" html bit.

It is interesting reading all this as I bought this plugin too.
Seems like there has been a mixed reception.
Some say it is difficult to master and yeah it took me 4 days of serious grafting to get this installed and flying straight.
Other think it is freat and again I think it could be.
my first site is several hundred pages and I am happy with it.
Now that I 'get it' I can slap a site up in no time so yes it is great software.

The only disappointment has been that I bought it because Diamond Dave recommended it and so far has NOT delivered on the promise to follow up with...

I bought EZ Builder and have had a few problems which I managed to sort out. The suppot id non existent and the forum is hopeless.

I have another problem now if anybody can help.

My Flickr images are not displaying on the website just an empty box, When I first tried it the images were there. I had to make some modifications and re-uploaded then the images dissapeard.
I have cleared my browser cache.
Can somebody offer any help.

Does anybody know how to get hold of Joe the owner of EZ Builder other than the support on the website. I have a few issues with EZBuilder and Yellabot and he does not seem to answer me from the support page.

If anyone using them, can anyone tell me what these databases are. Am interested lot in data mining and warehousing.

I can scrape anything off the web and have it in csv format to be used with this plugin.

All EZ Empire Builder bugs have been sorted and for last couple months has been smooth sailing. ;-)

EZ now has a FAST and SLOW build option so any time outs were fixed with that update.

Support has been pretty good and speedy.

Where to get databases has been covered in a lot of detail by the software creators on their forum.

Also, YellaBot.com is a new tool they sell for scraping the Yellow Pages in US/Canada/Australia/UK really good for building sites with EZ Empire Builder - Business directory type local sites and business review sites. A pretty sick combo.

A database is an organized collection of a information, the phone book is a database on paper of residents in a city, when you go to Amazon and search for a book or CD you are browsing through an electronic database of books or CDs etc. Don't know if it's a good analogy but that's the best I can define what a database is.

Hey BHW

I tried to purchase this ez empire builder and guess what nothing happen, the site is not working after the purchase was made I didn't receive the software, sent about 5 emails and no reply still. For the time being stay away from ez empire builder.
