EZ Empire Builder??

bought the product as well.

seems good, similar to the csv import, but better - tried importing on a shared hostgator account, got to about 4000 imports and then froze.
for me the big issue is going to be getting through an entire database, as advertised.

there are no pdf manuals, and the script is very much in the early stages. it has tons and tons of potential, and hopefully they will keep developing it, as there are lots of little features i would add.

if you have the cash to invest, i'd do it, but if its on the fence, i'd wait until more development is done - still needs some work.

I also bought EZEB. I was running into the same problem, where it would freeze upon importing any database that didn't have a completely perfect sql database.

I just got the 1.5 release and (in addition to adding flickr capabilities), it also fixes that problem. It adds an "ignore errors" checkbox by the submit button. This is a huge improvement.

I hope this helps you!

I'm also running this in hostgator share dand running into the same problem re number of records imported, I believe its to do with the php.ini restrictions that hostgator put on the account and we can't amed, only way round it I think is to split the DB into several smaller ones....

You can use tab limited CSV as well so any datafeed

You create a project with one tab limited CSV and then combine with another project for Sql...

You imagination is only the limit with what you can do with custom fields for each post...

I had inserted google maps and adsense based on a field

I developed a snag now on 2.9.1 trying to preview the posts before posting but ended but with error...

Code:
[B]Warning[/B]:  Division by zero in [B]/plugins/ezempirebuilder/phpcipher.bin(355) : eval()'d code[/B] on line [B]32[/B]

Dont know what the error is all about...but it posts flawlessly

Created a 10-20 posts per day website that will post for an year.. with one tab limited file with 51K fields

Can EZ EB be used to create something like this site (which dominates pretty much every single town in the entire USA for their keyword): http://www.calculateme.com/car-insurance/new-hampshire.htm

Looks like this has pulled in a DB of:
state
city
demographics for each state
insurance info
list of "brokers" in each state or town
general theft info
most stolen vehicles in that city/town

If it can do all this, I'm purchasing today.

Of course it all depends on where to get the data of course. Would all of this data need to be in one single spreadsheet? I can see where that database could get huge and choke out the program...

sorry for this newbie question but can someone here explain what is a database? how to use it.

I wonder if the database data can be re-written, if not then how is it any different than an autoblog?... i mean sooner or later we will all end up with the same databases and same websites no?

it can't just be the amount of content coz i can setup for example wp-robot to post several hundred posts and backdate them...

Can one of you guys that bought it already expand on this?...

Regards...

The program is very cool...Databases are usually hard to work with and take time to setup properly but Ez Empire builder makes things much simpler. Plus databases store so much information it makes them more valuable in terms of content than gerberish auto blogs.

You will have to buy your own databases though. Do a search on digital point or the internet to find them cheaply. There is also an add-on where you can buy 50 Databases for $49.
.

Does anyone know where to find "FREE" databases at or very cheap databases? :rain:

The product is still being developed as I understand it so its a bit hit and miss. I imported a datafeed and it worked perfectly, I tried to import another datafeed in exactly the same format and it didn't work..... needs a bit of work on it but the basics appear to be there. I've managed to throw up a 20,000 page site in less than an hour, getting those pages indexed is the next challenge!

Is this even working any more? I purchased, installed it, and it blows up every site I put it on. Now I see the bumblesoft site is down and links to the videos are down. Is this still in business?

it works well and the support was quick as they corrected the error.Dont know why its not working for you

I read the entire sales page, still not that familar with what the databases are, are they just tons of content that you upload that has been scrapped from diff places on the web?

How does this product compare with LFE?

Not one response from support. Put my errors on the forum, emailed bumblesoft support, no response
