Eye bags from prolonged screen time

I mean i think a screen can strain your eyes, which causes bags/dark circles/hollows. It's the light from the screen that is def doing something.
I remember @BassTrackerBoats once made a thread how he had success with i believe sunglasses while using the computer.

Eat a balanced diet with plenty of vegetables and exercise a few times a week. Those will go away quick.

I know this isn't a medical forum, but does anybody else have these? And if so, how the FUCK do you get rid of them? I've tried drinking more water, creams, and even put sliced cucumbers on my face like an idiot. I'm seriously convinced that prolonged periods of screen time is the cause.

My girlfriend has started calling me her "cute little racoon". I guess this is one of the cons to internet marketing?

Eyebags can be a sign of bad kidneys. Go get checked.

Here’s a clue: Sunlight has a few hundred times brightness then our average monitor.. Yet, we don’t get blind if we go out in the sunlight (unless someone is a vampire or something).

It’s just another scam (it might actually filter some of the frequencies, but that might not be necessary atall).
Our eyes evolved over millions of years to see objects in reflected sunlight under ambient light. The bright screens are relatively recent developments. We shouldn't stare at screens for long, particularly in dark rooms. The best we can do is to keep the lights on at night while we are working to create ambience, remove blue light with a filter (in-built in Windows and some apps/software are available), take regular breaks (usually 5 mins for every 30 mins), and keep blinking once in a while.

I've had this issue...

Best tips; drink lots of water and eat your veggies.

Go to sleep by 11pm. Even if you can't sleep just stay in the dark listening to the radio. Eventually your stupid body will get the message and learn to sleep at that time.

No screens (including laptop/smartphone) in the dark.

Spend at least 1-2 hours outside every day (to battle myopia).

Maybe try some creams recommended by experts - I've not found any that work yet. But do the other stuff and you'll see a difference after a few MONTHS.

My suggestions may sound weird, but do give it a try : eat 2 raw carrots daily, munch each bite properly in the mouth before swallowing each bite. Daily for 1 hour, go outdoor for a brisk walk, preferably combine the brisk walking with jogging. Avoid aerated drinks. Follow these tips for a whole week and then see the results. I've never had eye bags, but the above suggestions resolved this issue for my brother and ever since he has been following it and that issue never reoccurred.
