I downloaded a .flv video from a website that I plan to use elsewhere, however when I try to playback the flv file from my local machine I am getting audio only- what is likely the problem here?
    Thanks

don't know what it is, but it sounds painful
Likely a codec issue, try downloading VLC or KMplayer and see if it works..

Get Sothink Web video downloader, its free. It will also playback flvs, convert mpegs to flv etc. And as said b4 vlc will play them also.

As far as edit goes you can only change the title. There are some addons you can purchase that add more functions to it. Just go to their website and check it out. If you need to actually edit the video then I think you will need editing software. The one I use is camtasia and its free here on the forum, just search it.
