I had someone build me an LP and he is hosting it. I don't have the files for the LP, but I have access to the CP. Can I extract the LP files or folders or whatever from CP to edit them myself?

If you do not have FTP access you can try this too. If the Control Panel is Cpanel you can access the file manager directly and compress then download your files.

Step-by-step guide to Cpanel File Manager http://www.siteground.com/tutorials/cpanel/file_manager.htm#access

If your Control Panel is Plesk it is a similar process. And if it some generic they usually have some form of File access from the host. Just look around the CP for "File Manager"
