So I have a question:
Is there a way one could target another's site with negative rich snippet information or meta information?
For instance: a website I run is currently having a problem where several keywords, while ranking for our money site, is showing a pornographic video thumbnail next to them in the SERP. Same is true in google video search when one searches for the company name. No FLVs are hosted on the website, or ever have. We're currently thinking we're victims of some sort of external attack, any thoughts on this?
It's a fairly malicious attack, we're already noticing significant drops in traffic despite being at the top of the SERPs because of this.
