I made a new Youtube channel and uploaded some videos. Because the channel is new I'm not able to add external links in my video descriptions.

To make external links work I have 3 options:

- Upload my id
- Make a video of my face
- Wait to build channel history

I prefer option 3. Do you guys know how long it will take to build channel history? Are there things that I can do that will speed up the process?
 
Advertise on BHW
1k subs and 4k watchtime hours will be enough for the channel history.

Pretty sure Verfication via Channel history is their actual verficaition badge process.

Verified channel eligibility​

To be eligible to apply for verification, your channel must reach 100,000 subscribers.

After you apply, we’ll review your channel. We verify channels that:

  • Are authentic: Your channel must represent the real creator, brand, or entity it claims to be. We’ll check different factors to help verify your identity, such as the age of your channel. We may also ask for more info or documentation.
  • Are complete: Your channel must be public and have a channel banner, description, and profile picture. The channel also needs to have content and be active on YouTube.
Sometimes, YouTube may also proactively verify channels with fewer than 100,000 subscribers that are well-known outside of YouTube.

what niche are you working on? and there is no set timeline for building channel history on YouTube
 
My channel is more than 1 year old. I can post links.
Now I tried to verify it didn't work for another channel different account.
You can try buying one by creating a want to buy thread, good luck.
 
I have the same problem.
I have created new youtube channel and I can't add external link to description.
 
The third option is being part of the partneship program, so you need to be verified in order to being part of the program and I believe once you are verified you still need to provide certain personal information in case you want to monetize the channel, in case you do not want to monetize you will have access to add external links.
 
Maybe I am better off going with option 2: the face video

Would it be an idea to use someone else for this? Give him some money and use his face

What about if they ask for another one in the future, are you gonna chase that man again?
 
Do anybody know where can I buy 3 steps youtube accoun?
I have asked some sellers on BHW, but I have not found seller who have this type of accounts.
