Sorry I have hard time understanding what you're trying to ask..

But yes most registrars offer discounted price for .info registrations but from next year onwards, they cost the same as .com for getting renewed.

If the .com version of that domain is available, there is a trick where you can get the .info version for only $0.49.

Trick for 0.49, and not just if the .com is free, basically if any of the other major TLDs

Search for the 0.49 trick thread in this forum.
It works at Godaddy, cheapest you'll find .info and get 5 to get free whois privacy.
